As the title says, how do I disable firefox suggest in the firefox app on IOS? It suggests websites when typing into the search bar, which I have only ever visited in private browsing and it suggests them, even after clearing private data in the settings.

Why can’t I turn this off or delete suggested sites? This question has been asked and never responded by you. If I cn’t turn this off, I’m delete it all my Firefox Browsers. It will pain me to do so but,,,,

Bookmarks does not work. Please fix and post good instructions. See the many other negative complaints about Bookmarks. It should not be this hard to establish a bookmark folder and place an item in that that folder. Very frustrating to use!

This feels like a question with an obvious answer but I can't seem to figure out how to change the zoom level on webpages in Firefox for iOS. I don't mean the pinch-to-zoom thing — pinch-zoom drives me nuts. I don't want to have to scroll sideways, I want to reformat the text bigger. One of the websites I like to use for reading things (lots of reading! hence my distaste for pinch-to-zoom) has itty bitty default font and I can't for the life of me find where Firefox iOS is hiding the "zoom in/out" function.

I have not been able to get my Firefox iOS app and desktop to sync. On both my desktop and phone logins are selected for syncing but each device has its own list of logins which they wont share with each other. I can sync tabs and send tabs from desktop to my phone and the same the other way around. The only thing that doesn't seem to sync is passwords/ logins.

I have uninstalled the app on my phone I have logged out and back in I have cleared connected devices on my account and relogged in

None of the above have worked in getting my device to sync.

When I do a fresh install I only get back the logins that I've manually entered onto my phone. It seems to have it's own list separate form the desktop and neither device is sharing login sync.

Any help would be appreciated, I have 300+ logins on my desktop version and have only manually moved over a small handful to my phone because manually doing so is a pain and they won't sync if I update one on the phone or computer to the other device.

I'm on iOS 109 and desktop version is 109.0 (64-bit). I have been trying for weeks on and off to resolve this issue.

Hello I'm trying to make a switch to FF from Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome but I can't get saved login IDs and passwords to sync with FF for iPhone and Android using the same account. Any ideas? Here are a few more details: 1. All other items, like, Bookmarks, Tabs and History are syncing across all devices, no problems. 2. I deleted all old login IDs, bookmarks and everything stored in my FF account previously, then imported new and updated ones from Microsoft Edge. 3. Login IDs and Passwords are all showing up and working with Auto-fill in FF for desktop. Just that these IDs and Passwords are not showing up in FF for iPhone and Android despite manually syncing multiple times and ensuring that Login check box is ticked on. 4. New passwords created on FF for either iPhone or Android are syncing across all devices (including desktop), but the vice-versa (imported and new ones saved on desktop) are not syncing with mobile devices. 5. I have tried re-installing FF on all 3 devices and still only passwords remain to be synced. Rest everything syncs perfectly. 6. I have tried importing from Google Chrome as well, but the same problem ensues.

Hi, I just installed Firefox on my iPhone and I was looking into whether tab groups are possible, and it didn't seem so but I came across [article] that is confusing. Under "View Open Tabs", it references "tab groups in ascending order", but I can't seem to figure out how to create these groups. Is this actually possible? Thank you!

Hello! I have a problem I'm using firefox for ios and I have a setup problem. When I opened a tab and then switched to another application, for example a messenger, and then switched back to firefox, then firefox opens a new window for me, instead of showing the site window that I left. It happens every time. How do I make firefox show the window that I left after switching to another application. Thank you!

Hi, I am using Firefox 109.0 (25841) on my iPhone 7+ with ios 15.7. When trying to sync my bookmarks from Firefox on my MacBook Pro to my iPhone, the directions in Firefox on my Mac ask me to open the Firefox app on my iPhone, and to click on Sync And Save Data under the menu on the bottom right, but that option is not a part of the list, as far as I can tell. As a result, I can't scan in the code, and initiate the sync. Any idea how I can get that option to appear? Thank you for your help : )

Firefox displays pdf files very nicely, but how do I save the file to my download folder?

FF help says this is done by “clicking the download link” but I cant find any download links anywhere in the FF GUI, when the pdf is displayed.

I'm sure its there somewhere, but I just cant find it..

I have opened a PDF file in the built-in viewer of FF, but I can't find a way to download it directly from the viewer. There's no download button/link/icon anywhere on iOS 13.6.1 (iPhone SE 1st gen), and the latest version of FF. I'm completely stucked because I can't open the PDF file again, for example by entering the URL in a new tab. I have it in the viewer and if I close the tab, I won't be able to open the file again because the URL had a lifetime, and it is expired now.

I can't believe the download function is missing in FF built-in PDF viewer/iPhone 2016/iOS 13.6.1. Any idea how I can do that? Thank you advance for your help. Regards

I’m running Firefox 29.2 on iOS 14.2.

When I try to find my browser’s history, it’s a circuitous route, and it only shows history from the past month. I’ve never deleted my history, so how do I go back farther to view more? I’m not signed in to an account to sync with, if that makes a difference, but there’s browsing data I’m trying to find from several months ago that just isn’t there.

Hello, I don't know if I'm missing this but I cannot find any way to search within bookmarks on the iOS versions of Firefox. I use sync to get my desktop bookmarks on the iOS browsers. However when I need to use one of my lesser used links it is impossible to find and I either have to search the web or go onto my desktop. In this respect the browser is very difficult to use.

Is there a search function? If not is one likely to be added?
