My option for night mode to invert the colors for websites has suddenly disappeared from the menu. If I go to settings I can turn on dark mode but it does not work for a lot of websites. How can I get night mode back?

Hopefully, someone can help me with this strange issue:

I've installed Firefox for iOS (iPhone) and would like to add DuckDuckGo as my default search engine but there seems to be an issue with the query string as shown on this support page.

When entering DDG to the list in Settings using the suggested query string "https://www.duckduckgo.com/search?q=%s", every search in the URL text field (in this case "vin") sends me to the DDG start page where my string is changed to "search" in the search field (see image) and below with a bunch of search engines. Then I have to enter my initial search string one more time.

Hopefully, this explanation makes sense.

What can I do? Any help is very much appreciated.

The instructions are wrong and convoluted. How can I scan a QR code if it is on the iOS device???????? Mozilla just doesn't know how to get around the iOS limitations.

I will no longer use firefox on my iPAD if I can't sync my bookmarks from my Android/Windows bookmarks.

Did you guys really get rid of night mode on iOS app?? And the tap and hold a link to see a small preview page? Those are the two biggest reasons I use Firefox iOS over other browsers- why did these two features go away??

I recently started using a iPhone 14. I can’t seem to get your browser to autofill credit card info on websites. I have searched and it says to turn it on under settings, privacy, autofill. There is no autofill option under privacy.

HI, I have a Mac with El Capitan OS and Firefox 78.15.0esr. Recently I can´t open some websites: ChatGPT, Likendin, TunnelBear, Wester Union, etc. Before everything was working perfect. Please HELP! Thanks friends :) When I try to open this website, nothing happens, nor an error, sometimes in certain website it keeps retrieving and thats it.

For some reason I don’t have the option to add payment cards on my browser using the latest version on iOS.

Can someone explain or help me achieve this as it’s pretty annoying having to dig my card out or switch to safari.

With version 124 of Firefox, the ‘Dark Mode’ theme no longer works. Whether I set the theme to “Use System Light/Dark Mode” or if I manually set the theme to dark, it still always shows ‘light’ mode. FYI, my iPad settings are set to ‘Dark’ mode.

I prefer to read white text on a black background - much easier on the eyes! In earlier releases of Firefox, I was able to enjoy reading stories. Now I must set my iPad (manually whenever I want to use Firefox to read) to ‘Smart Invert’ (which will switch the Firefox window to dark mode), then turn off ‘Smart Invert’ to do anything else on my iPad.

I'm trying to add a new Google Gmail account I just recently created to my iOS 17 iPhone 13Pro Gmail app and it's telling me I need to use a browser that has JavaScript enabled. I'm using Firefox as my default browser. How do I enable JavaScript so that Google will let me add my new email account?

Hello! I'm running the current version of Firefox, and my MacOS is also up to date: 14.2. I'm building a website in Squarespace. On that website, I have a PDF link that, when clicked, will open in a new browser window, with an option to download. I've set that up in SQSP settings, but clicking the link only allows a download. Squarespace Support and myself were able to open the PDF in a new window in Chrome and Safari. Is there a setting in Firefox or something else that I'm missing that will allow opening the PDF in a new browser window? Thanks! Michael

Hello: I’m running iOS 17.3.1 on iPhone. The problem I’m experiencing: I used to see the Recommended by Pocket articles on my iOS Firefox homepage, but they stopped appearing a few weeks ago. I’ve searched for a resolution, but all I can find are the steps for customizing/personalizing my HomePage: the problem is that although I’m signed into my Firefox/Mozilla account and have chosen Firefox as my Homepage for New Tabs, and I’ve signed out, restarted the app and changed my Firefox settings several times, the option: ‘Recommended by Pocket’ ( along with the actual articles appearing on the homepage) doesn’t even appear anymore: I’m at a loss as to locating that option, as well as, again, seeing the Recommended Articles as they appeared previously. Hello. I have firefox for Ipad. IOS 17.2. The issue I am having is that I would like to save a website shortcut to my home screen like I normally do with Safari. When using Firefox, once I'm on the site I want to "Add to Home Screen," I go to the share menu and this option doesn't appear. Other options such as print..etc do, but not ADD TO HOME SCREEN.

Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

In the Settings menu, there is no option for “Address” under PRIVACY to save autofill addresses. There is a “Payment” option which allows me to save credit cards to autofill, but not for addresses.

I can’t find the Auto-fill settings in FF on iOS. I found instructions here for where they should be and they are not there. Was this feature taken away recently. It’s VERY tedious not having this feature. Am I doing something wrong?

i have an ipad, and i've been searching up and down in the settings for a "general" or even "performance" tab like i've read articles and such tell me to do but i can't find them, how do i turn off hardware acceleration? please and thank you!!

DuckDuckGo is default browser on iOS ad iMac. I want to block any and all Amazon.com results from my searches. How do I do that? If an overall block is not possible, how to I customize a search or the results list to filter out Amazon.com?
