This should do what is necessary, BUT, the change isn't saved when I exit. How do I save the change?

My Yahoo email was working fine until a week ago. Now every email I try to send or reply to I get a message " Unable to send.message. If you are sending a link, try adding some text to it. This helps us to fight spam" This happens even when I'm not sending a link!

I try adding more and more text, no results. My email is fine in Explorer and Chrome. Spent time with Yahoo support, diagnostics, they say not their problem.

Cleared the cache, no results.

As of today, after firefox grabbed the 38.0.1 update, it always crashes when I open up gmail. Presumably this is on the GoogleTalkPlugin. Independently of this, firefox also always crashes when trying to play any Vimeo video or SoundCloud audio. This has been going on since 37.x; I have been using firefox in a crippled mode by just avoiding webpages that have Vimeo or SoundCloud embedded (although that itself is an annoyance). With gmail unusable though, I am dead in the water.

Starting firefox in safe mode causes the same crash. Last few log lines in the console are:

I sure would like to solve this. I was using Safari on my 2008 Mac and then it became outdated on some websites so I switched to Firefox. I am using a wireless connection supplied by the RV park that we are in with a password. I must use Safari to log in then I can use Firefox once that I am connected. (Firefox 38.0.1). Is there some way to disable whatever security line is causing this problem. I also use Firefox on a windows7 laptop from time to time with no problems. So far this is the only problem that I have found since installing Firefox on the Mac.

When I click on options, the options page shows, but I cannot change anything. I first noticed when I tried to change my home page by adding a tab and the change did not take effect. Today when I brought up the Options page I noticed that I could not change anything and could not go to any of the tabs on the Options page other than General. No amount of clicking on the page did anything. I am using Windows 8.1 and have successfully used Firefox for years.

The latest update to Firefox has crashed numerous time on me today. Here are the most recent crash ID's:

Since the upgrade to Version 38.0.1, this action is no longer working. I can right-click and select a link to open in a new tab, but pressing the mouse scroll-wheel no longer works as a shortcut.

Please fix or advise if there's a setting I can tweak to get this feature back.

Every time I have more than 3 tabs open at a time firefox crashes, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with norton toolbar but I don't want to disable it. I have tried everything except recreating the problem in safe mode mainly do to the fact I wanted to know if a fix already existed for norton toolbar because I knew of compatibility issues in the past with firefox, if norton is not causing the problem I would have no other fix except to use another browser. I have left a youtube video open in a tab. Everytime I refresh, it automatically runs. This has only just started happening. I want to refresh it to see how many views it has had. By the video running it distorts the figures.

I have flashblock installed as an add on

How do I stop it automaticlly playing

I cannot work out how to make google.com.au one of the entries in the search engine drop down list. any suggestions???

running Firefox 38.0.1 on a Windows 7 machine. When I start google search, nothing shows up below the top search bar (with the white magnifying glass on the right). That space is all white.

I don't get the "Never for This Site" option for the site I don't want the password saved - how to add it to the exception list ?

I get the "Not Now" option but not the "Never for This Site" option.

After I un-install Firefox 38.0.1, it will automatically re-install again. I've remove Firefox folder in Program Files and AppData. OS: Windows 7, 64bit

Firefox was just updated to 37.0.2, however, this problem existed before the update. When I try to "copy and paste" from one webpage to another, I'm able to right click and "copy" but when I try to "paste" to another page, I get a menu that says "Save Page As," "Select menu," etc., but no "paste."

I also cannot click on the "Help" button at the top of Firefox. All of the other buttons work, except this one. The only way I can get it to work is open "Customize," then close it, and the "Help" menu then works.

Anyone have any idea how to correct these problems? Thanks for the replies!

I was browsing while updating my software and addons, everything was good.

I downloaded the FF 38.0.1 update from Mozilla and restarted FF and then everything was gone.

My Bookmarks, history, addons and passwords, all missing. I can sign into google and reinstall my addons, but how do I restore bookmarks and my browsing history?

Windows XP service pack 3. Just updated to Firefox 38.0.1. Now Firefox won't close using the X icon in the upper right (white uppercase X in red square). Have to Alt + F4 to close or right click on Firefox at bottom to left click on close.
