Since the 13th i have be unable to sync my windows 7 PC it has the latest version of Firefox (37.0.1). Sync attempts to work but fails with "Sync encountered an error while syncing  : unknown error. Syn will automatically retry this action" - but never manages to . I have disconnected sync and relogged back in with the same result . I read somewhere about error logs which i attempted to attach to the uploaded images button but it wont accept a. txt file.

As soon as Firefox updated me to 37.0.2 installed I started having issues with missing add-ons and missing tool bar buttons.

Instead spending all day reloading add-on from "Refreshing" Firefox I just started going through my add-ons and disabling them and restarting (4-5 at a time) till thinks went right. I spent a hour last night till I got down t last few that could because it . I left FIREBUG disable and things started working as is and Compatibility Reporter started working too.

Well I woke up to start Firefox and to my shagrin it was messed up again. So I went back through and and remembered the few last add-ons I re-enabled right before I disabled Firbug. So I disable it and sure enough things went back to normal. What Add-on was that?

When the icon for it shows on my toolbar everything else shows, yet when it goes awal many other things malfunction. I tried reloading Firfox several times and nothing change. So when I disable it and restarted things were normal and working.

Anyone else experience this?

Last week I sent a Word attachment with an email and thereafter all the emails I forward appear as attachments. I want to forward emails in the regular email format, so I can see the content I send, and so the recipient doesn't have to open an attachment. I use Windows 7 on a desktop. Thanks in advance!

Yahoo seems to be abusing its position as a sponsor of Firefox. Firefox advertizes itself as "trusted" and "customizable".

Yet Yahoo is violating the spirit of both aspects. It is accesses my chosen search providers, finding it is not Yahoo, and suggesting that I switch to the "preferred" search engine for Firefox.

I strongly encourage the foundation to require sponsors refrain from using the Mozilla or Firefox branding in such a manner.

With regular correspondence when Firefox is opened, plus the numerous begging letters, is Colourful Tabs bordering on malware? Other Add Ons have to survive, too, but Colourful Tabs have to take the biscuit for constant nagging and annoyance. It is a very good Add On, but is being ruined by these constant notifications and I am strongly tempted to remove it. It has become a pest.

This problem started when I recently refreshed fire fox due to other problems I was having. Options > general > when fire fox starts is set to 'show my home page'. In the support forum I found another user with same problem and the solution for him had to do with user.js file in profile folder? about:config? Anyway the answer was to delete that file or better yet remove all text from it and save that empty file and set it to read only to prevent it from reappearing. This is all beyond me and my meager computer knowledge and I don't even know if I have a user.js file. Please help

Hi supporter,

I look often about the Version actuality of my firefox on my mac My security newsletter says me that there is a new version and so I have tried to begin the update trough the "About Firefox" window and get the new Update. There is a little bug (?) because the About Infos shows that this (37.0.2) is the last Version and on the www.mozilla.org/firefox site I see that I must download the latest (38) one. I will do the update so, but I think it's better that this must be known.

FF version 38.0.5 and 39.0 crash during opening first website. Version 37.0.2 works just fine.

In doing a bit of research I believe the problem is with Websense Triton AP-Endpoint DLP.

In my case, and many others I saw in various crash reports, the failing module is QIPCAP.DLL.

I am running Websense Triton AP-Endpoint DLP version 8.0 Build 2081.

Each time I open Firefox it immediately opens 86 to over 200 tabs. I can't find any way to return Firefox opening to normal. I am running Yosemite 10.10.2 on my Mac.

I use Flash Player everywhere (because it has acceleration etc.) and Firefox has switched all video to HTML5.

How can I get my system working like it was before? Before the update?

I can't use a Firefox addon to force Flash because it breaks Greasemonkey scripts and other plugins?

Please advise.

Seriously Mozilla, please make this information available at least on the release notes BEFORE making major changes. Now I must waste my time to get Firefox working properly again. Microsoft does things like this.

I'm testing a security flag in Firefox's config that will let my ignore HSTS certificate settings, but it doesn't actually seem to do that. I've triggered a certificate error from facebook.com, and attempted to set security.cert_pinning.enforcement_level to 0 as shown in the image to ignore the warning, but it won't anyway. I know that facebook.com is a protected domain (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/codesearch#chromium/src/net/http/transport_security_state_static.json), but I was hoping that the config change would override the cooked in protection. Can anyone confirm that the list can't be bypassed?

Hi. Trying to upload multiple items pdfs to merge here: http://foxyutils.com/mergepdf/ Should work 'normally' - control click to select multiple. I've used the site previously, but today got a fresh user account as the last one was setup incorrectly (but I had FF and this worked AFAIK).

FF 37.0.1 on Win7 enterprise, ghostery & adblockplus turned off, java temporarily set to "always allow", java dev set to "ask" (can't change).

Any thoughts anyone? Seems very strange. Not sure if it's a Windows problem; I can select multiple items with control+click in windows explorer...

When I go to my Dropbox page or my Google e-mail page, both the images for icons AND their alternative text is shown (I tried to upload two images illustrating this but the "Upload image" seems to have hung). I am using the lastest version of Firefox for Linux.

I have tried to add an exception via about:config.....it is not available. This is a site that I visit daily and must use chrome.

Whenever a dialogue box or prompt box comes up, the all of the buttons or sometimes just the bottom two (OK and cancel) are blank and nothing happens when I click on them, with the exception of one website in which clicking the blank button that normally says "OK" takes me to a blank screen. This doesn't allow me to access certain websites or download anything when a dialogue box asks me to confirm. As a result, I also cannot start firefox in safe mode or refresh it.

Attached is an example. That is what came up when I tried to refresh firefox. Nothing happens when I click either of the buttons at the bottom.

I cannot see my entire add on theme picture. It seems that my tabs are too high? I could see the entire beach scene in a older version of Firefox but the bottom of the scene is cut off now. How can I fix this?

So, my separators disappear and appear again when I'm scrolling in the bookmarks' sidebar. It doesn't happen always, but sometimes it does. Right now, I don't have any add-ons, so I don't know why is this happening.

When I go and click them with the mouse they appear.

What should I do?

The imported bookmarks are in a folder whereas if I create a new bookmark in Firefox it just appears when I click bookmarks. How please can I move the IE ones over?
