I have my book marks in a side menu. Recently that side menu disappeared and when I click on the menu to install it again my bookmarks are not there and have been replaced with a bunch of stuff I don't use. How do I get my original book marks back? These bookmarks were for both my business and personal contacts. Leeanne Mackowski lmackowski@speclt.net 817-880-1097

I had to downgrade Firefox. Before I did I created a new profile so we would not lose the old bookmarks. Now Firefox downgraded and no bookmarks or profile. Then I upgraded back to the latest Firefox and still no profile or old bookmarks. Can anyone suggest where they might be?

I've tried restoring bookmarks from a Western Digital "My Passport" backup to a new installation (on a new computer) of Firefox following the old computer "dying." The post https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1265148 allows me to select the files to restore, but isn't able to copy them from the backup. ...any ideas? (I'll try posting this on the WD website as well.)

I can't get the "Other" bookmarks folder to go away.

I tried right-clicking on the folder & the context menu didn't show up. I tried about:config & changed the value to false. That didn't work.

I closed the browser after changing the boolean value to false & then restarted the browser. That didn't help.

I don't want to mess things up. I can't change the name of the folder. I was hoping that renaming the folder & then deleting it would solve the problem.

How do I hide the "Other" folder & the "Bookmarks Menu" folder?

I have a Mac if that helps any.

Hello I synced my acount in my phone(redmi k20) then change my phone & log in my firefox acount & all my bookmarks are gone!!! Please fix it & help me.tnx [edited email from public] @gmail.com

I'm using Firefox 100 on Win10 and can't save any bookmarks. They do NOT appear under the App Data Profile, which would not be acceptable even if they were. This change has made it impossible for me to continue using Firefox, unless I want to go back to Win7.

I simply need Bookmarks to work the way they did before!

Fire Fox no longer appears on the menu bar. I have to go to programs and open it each time I want to use Fire Fox. It will appear on the menu bar as long as I have it open but leaves the bar if I close it.

Hi My browser updated to latest version 100.0.1 but all my opened tabs are missing. And what is more important all my sync bookmarks are also gone. I can note restore any of sync data.

I followed instructions for getting them back, but got stuck at the Library. I said restore and chose a date, but I get an error message: Unable to process the backup file.

Recently got a new PC with Windows 11 and since I downloaded Firefox the shortcut of CTRL+Shift+O will not open the bookmark manager. Does the same on Opera GX and Chrome. Not sure if I did something wrong in the PC settings but nothing I've tried has fixed the problem

Your response to me sucks. It's uninformative at best and non-sense at best. No wonder you don't have people to speak with. I'd rather use another browser that's credible!
