My Android Firefox app suddenly changed the language for the menus. I now can't read the settings options. Can you describe how to change the menu back to English?

Data however is using up a large amount of space (1.3GB).

uBlock origin version 1.16.6 is the only plugin/addon I have installed.

I don't have any downloads.

By comparison Chrome browser on my phone takes up less than 100MB of storage space.

What is deleted if I clear the 1.3GB of Data? Will my bookmarks be deleted. Will uBlock origin be deleted (my only installed plugin).

There's already a bug report about it but the FF team's response is that they aren't going to do anything. They claim it's an issue with the kernel but no other apps / browsers on the Pixel have this problem.
