There used to be an optio open in app option under 3 dot menu right hand corner but after updating to latest version it has gone.

I need that option badly. Please help getting that back I don't want to clear data or uninstall as it will completely ruin many settings logins layout ETC it will be chaos for me

Also please share Firefox customer support mail Id so I xan directly take it upto them.

Please allow force-enabling of the "Open in App" button on all domains.

The cause of my asking this is that YouTube no longer has this option. Presumably because they explicitly disallowed this. I want my end-user control over this back. To note, reddit still has this option.

So my request is to add a toggle to force this button to appear on all domains, if at all possible.

Under Settings, Firefox will not allow me to check the box to "Open previous windows and tabs. WHY? It has always worked before. Did the recent iOS update do this?

I am sure the option to open pixiv links in native app had been there. Now it is gone. Does someone know why it is like this or how to make it work again?

P.S.: The option still exists for youtube for example

When choosing to open the Last Tab as your starting tab, it just opens the first tab of all the tabs you have open. Seems that setting it to Homepage does the same thing. I deleted Firefox and and reinstalled; still no change.

I always use and have set the opening screen to the “last tab” option, but since version 115.1 was released, when closing and reopening FF (or after it refreshes itself) it reopens on the very first tab.

If I close that tab, it opens on the new first tab, same thing if I rearrange them.

If it’s useful, I have the “inactive tabs” option disabled, and have like, 150~200 tabs open atm.

On Firefox for iOS, I usually have about 14 tabs. A few of them went inactive, so I reopened them from the inactive tabs section. However, later the same day, I open Firefox again and they’re inactive again. I reopen the tabs again. I decided to do a test. I force-quit the app and restarted Firefox, and once again they’re inactive.

This behavior started a few weeks ago and it’s really annoying, and Im not sure how to fix it. I also noticed that a few of the webpages are now constantly asking to accept cookies when Firefox is restarted. I haven’t changed any settings, so I’m not sure why this is happening.

Some pages in Firefox show inverted / in negative colours in iOS Firefox. Same page appears fine in Safari on the same phone, so I'm guessing it's a Firefox setting somewhere but can't find anything obvious. Seen the same problem discussed online - but no obvious answer. Anyone got any help? Thanks.

Having Xiaomi Mi10 MIUI 14.0.2.0 Android 13. Installed official Reddit and 4PDA apps. Firefox v.114.2 shows a button "Open in App" in tab menu when visiting reddit.com and 4pda.to. Firefox v.115.2 doesn't show the button.

Already tried to reinstall Firefox and reset system preferenses of "Link opening" for the apps above. After the last action the button is started to show, but tapping it does nothing.

I tried to go to emoji.gg and it says that i have an adblocker on. "No biggie, ill just go to the settings and disable it.". I cant find anything that mentions adblocker.

I use Better Open With on Android to have a choice of browser when opening links from apps. This has never affected how Firefox operates until the recent update.

Now, FF handles all links in any page as external and asks if I want to leave FF (and present the Better Open With options).

This behavior is not seen in any other browsers I have installed (FF Focus, Chrome, Kiwi, Opera). These browsers handle links on open pages correctly and open internally while also recognizing apps that are installed (Home Depot, etc).

Please fix Firefox to use itself for internally opened links!

I increased the font size in Firefox to 145%. It increased only the font size, but not other things until the latest update. The first image shows what the webpage looks like with 145% font size, where everything is larger in this version. The second image with the increment of just font size in previous version. How to increase just font size but not other things? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not even in California, much less Sacramento.

FireFox search cashed cleared. FireFox app closed. Phone reloaded.

Not yet Firefox reinstalled. Last time done ALL SHORT CUTS & BOOKMARKS LOST! ANOTHER MAJOR HINDERANCE.

Thankfully not too often are web site pages that are grossly out-of-format for my Android phone. Mostly everything is tiny. Yes, I can pinch expand or zoom in but then side back and forth scrolling is required to navigate and absorb the page. Not the optimum result. Very annoying.

I have font adjustments but those result in a similar and distroted page.

One web site option when available was a toggle for windows/cell phone that worked pretty good but it's not always provided. That implies the web site design is the formatting adjustment function.

Is the resultant cell phone display formatting a function of the visited web site, browser, phone device, etc or some combination of those entities settings?
