I am writing to request assistance with an issue I am encountering on the latest version of the Firefox browser for Android. My goal is to open specified pages in the same tab using Intent from a third-party custom application. However, I have observed that different URLs open in separate tabs, contrary to my expectations.  Current Implementation:  Here is the code snippet I am currently using: java： Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); intent.setData(uri); intent.putExtra(Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID, packageName); startActivity(intent); Expected Behavior:  I expect different URLs to open in the same tab without opening new tabs. This functionality is crucial for my application.  Issue Background:  I have researched similar issues and found that users have had comparable needs using Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID. Unfortunately, it appears that Firefox has not fully addressed this functionality. The EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID is a feature that modern browsers should ideally support to enhance user experience and maintain continuity within a single tab. When I reboot a Windows 10 computer and click once on the Firefox icon on the Taskbar, (1.) Firefox does not open full screen although when closed it was full screen. (2.) A second Firefox window opens with Yahoo on a Tab and also not full screen. Please fix!

I haven't downloaded anything recently (at least not that I know of) and for the past two days now every time I open up firefox, the search bar and images glitch white. You can't see what you're typing and when you go to images on google, all of it turns white. It happens to every website I go to, certain things turn white. Doesn't happen with Chrome, just Firefox. I've cleared the cache and data on it but that doesn't do anything. I've restarted my laptop and tried to make sure it wasn't my laptop that was the problem. I'm nervous to uninstall and reinstall cause I don't want to lose my passwords saved here.

All of the sudden my subfolders under Sent disappeared and even the Sent folder disappeared. Plus TB keeps asking me for my password which is a long series of letters, ie. security key. Please help. There was very important info in those folders and I'm feeling kind of desparate. I uninstalled TB and reinstalled. Not fixed at all. Thank you.

Firefox is a very good browser that I have using for years on my computer and phone. But recently I found out that firefox having an abnormal battery drain issue on my Samsung s23. I went to search for related issue and found a related one this year, but a little difference from my situation, Firefox was draining the most battery on my phone and I was barely using it.(By bing translation)

I think I have completed cross compilation, so I compressed the "obj-aarch64-linux" folder on a USB drive and copied it to my aarch64 architecture development board. And when I tried to launch the browser on the development board using the "./obj-aarch64-linux/dist/bin/firefox" command, I received an error message saying "Couldn't load XPCOM". It is worth mentioning that firefox is installed by default on my development board, but I need to compile and install its source code, and local compilation cannot be achieved on my development board, so I made the above operation. I get the following message when I try to log in to my Kaiser.com account. "The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." I can get to the Kaiser web site but I get this message when I click on "sign in". I don't have a problem accessing and signing in using Safari or Chrome. I can't figure out how to disable or turn off cookies for the Kaiser.com website. And I've never had to do that before today.

Hi, Since the update today to 127.0 My sidebar bookmark will not load when I open Firefox. Here is what I have done so far,

Uninstalled Firefox and use the restore on reinstall. didn't work deleted the xulstore file in 3 location. didn't work Removed Firefox using Revo Uninstaller and installed from the local setup file. didn't work Uninstalled ad-ons that used the sidebar, IE Video DownloadHelper, Sync my account, and tryed the step above again. didn't work I use Revo again and did a search for any firefox file, deleted old firefox folder on desktop and any file I could find with a link to the browser. Reinstalled from local file.

When Firefox started this time there was no profile to log in my account "" password etc "", I did a test and the sidebar was working correctly. I then activated my account and the side bar stop working on restart. Not that I did a sync after removing a few ad-ons, see pic for left addons.

Whenever I try to download anything, it automatically fails. The problem just started recently and I don't know what could have caused it because I haven't done anything that could affect downloads to my knowledge. Things I've already tried are

• Reinstalling firefox (including full uninstall via "Revo Uninstaller"
• Updating firefox to the latest version (127)
• Disabled all firewalls
• Chose the save location
• Disabled all parental controls in windows
• Chose the "don't enable HTTPS mode" (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1414064)
• Tried firefox & windows safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442742)
• Chose a different save location inside my computer (a folder other than downloads)
• Cleared download history
• Ran a chkdsk on windows

The thing is that everthing else of firefox works (browsing the web, watching videos, etc), it's only the downloads. It's also not a computer problem I think because I can download on other browsers (such as chrome and pale moon). Any help asap is appreciated.

Ever since I updated the app, all of my tabs keep disappearing when I close the app. I’ve kept a lot of tabs on my Firefox app, and it’s very upsetting that I keep losing the tabs that I need. Is there any fix?

I have an issue with color profiles that I'd like some help with. For my setup, I'm using a thinkpad with a wide gamut display running in fedora.

The issue is that an image exported from Darktable looks overly saturated in Firefox. I found I was able to fix this by specifying the color profile using the flag `gfx.color_management.display_profile`. However that profile is the OS default, and according to Firefox it should've been picked up when querying the OS.

How can I see what icc/color profile Firefox is using? Alternatively, what method is Firefox using to query the OS for its default profile? Thank you.

While managing my Thunderbird Inbox, I inadvertantly transferred a chunk of Inbox messages received from my MS Office365 Outlook account into the trash. I went into Outlook on the WebApp and discovered that all of the inadvertantly deleted emails were found under recover deleted emails. So within Outlook I recovered all mails into the Inbox. So far, so good.

Now I have all the mails listed in the Inbox on Outlook. But when I open Thunderbird again, the recovered mails do not show up. It seems that Thunderbird does not fully synchronize the folder and the recovered emails are not downloaded. Instead, all mails are once again removed from the Outlook Inbox. The previously recovered mails disappear again from the inbox of OWA and I have to recover them all again.

I have already tried several fixes. Within Outlook, I created a new folder and moved the recovered Inbox mails to that folder. This was done in the hope that this folder will then sync properly with Thunderbird. Unfortunately no. The folder does not sync and as soon as Thunderbird is closed again, all mails are deleted again from the new folder on OWA.

I also deleted the Outlook account (including all stored data) and recreated the account in Thunderbird. Unfortunately, the same thing happens again. The recovered mails are not displayed in Thunderbird and after closing the program, the mails are deleted again in OWA and I have to recover them again. Finally I went so far as to uninstall Thunderbird completely from my computer and reinstalled the software. That did not fix the problem either.

I will also provide another observation: in the past when I have recovered individual emails the same behavior has occurred. Seems that when Outlook or Exchange places a deleted email into the recovery queue, there is a change in its identify such that TB now views it as a deleted message.

Any suggestions on how this can be fixed?

Upgraded to the newest version of Thunderbird, 115.11.1 (64-bit) and now I can not get into my emails on bellsouth.net. . Error message "Sending of password for user xyz123@bellsouth.net did not succeed. Mail server inbound.att.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later." I keep trying but same error for two days now. I can get my email on the web (Yahoo mail) ok. I double checked the setting and everything is good and migrated to the new version ok.

I see a preview of new emails that fades after a minute or so. I just saw such a preview, it faded, but when I opened Thunderbird, there is no new email in inbox.

How can I find it?

Also, is there a way to change frequency of retrieving new emails? To create an account for this, I had to get a 6 digit code...it took 4 minutes to appear.

I factory restarted my computer and reinstalled Firefox. When I signed into my Firefox account, all my bookmarks showed up but none of my tabs were loaded. I figured out how to load my tabs up from my previous session but all my bookmarks then deleted. I tried to re-sync but none of the tabs showed up. When I try to restore my bookmarks from the manage bookmarks library, it does not appear. I do not have a backup file for my bookmarks.

I used the same password I have been using for a long time with my Verizon account and now I get this message: Sending of password for user k.machv@verizon.net did not succeed. Mail server pop.verizon.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later. I can open and download my email messages via AOL but it will not recognize my password to allow me to download my messages to Thunderbird.
