After updating to the latest Thunderbird I checked my emails and closed the program - but not from the inbox. Now, T'bird insists on opening into that same screen and there is no link to to show my inbox. I have removed and re-installed T'bird with no result. I have tried approximately 15 'sure' fixes from the internet and Mozilla but without success. Finally I read that the new version will open the screen which you were last using at shutdown, but there is no link to open the inbox. There is no link to the inbox on the left side of screen nor a down caret on the right hand side of screen. I have no folders showing, such as "Inbox", "Drafts", "Sent" or 'Local Folder'. I have referred to the Mozilla list of shortcuts without success. My inbox is not empty F5 and Shift + F5 do nothing. The email address for my PC is: albanv@netspace.net.au How can I show my inbox?

Every time I try to make a comment to an article in Yahoo News, it gets rejected. I can't even post the word testing and it gets rejected. Attached is a screenshot.

There is one machine that does have internet

How do i get them to point to that server for updates?

FF should have an easy deployment console for rolling out their product.

I saw something about an MAR server however its not clear.

We just have WSUS so cant use that to update like Edge.

Hello, I am using : 115.11.1 (64-bit) The last mail I have received was on 14/06. I have check the POP mail server, I have tried to open at the same time my mail box on the yahoo platform and on Thunderbird. I haven't changed anything and do not understand why suddenly i cannot see my new mails. I can send mails without issue though. Can someone help ? Thank you Sand

Have used Firefox for decades and suddenly it is having problems. If I surf around and have a few tabs open, some of them might crash. Firefox tries to restore them and sometimes it works and sometimes they just crash again immediately. I can go to Amazon and the page won't load completely so I can't do anything. If I try and close Firefox it won't close, it is frozen. And often, pages just load very slowly even though my internet connection is strong. This just started about a month or so ago. I have refreshed Firefox, updated it, and checked the systems on my computer. All my internal diagnostics returned "no issues." So it has to be the program.

My goal is to open specified pages in the same tab using Intent from a third-party custom application. However, I have observed that different URLs open in separate tabs, contrary to my expectations.  Current Implementation:  Here is the code snippet I am currently using: java： Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW); intent.setData(uri); intent.putExtra(Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID, packageName); startActivity(intent); Expected Behavior:  I expect different URLs to open in the same tab without opening new tabs. This functionality is crucial for my application.  Issue Background:  I have researched similar issues and found that users have had comparable needs using Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID. Unfortunately, it appears that Firefox has not fully addressed this functionality. The EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID is a feature that modern browsers should ideally support to enhance user experience and maintain continuity within a single tab. When I reboot a Windows 10 computer and click once on the Firefox icon on the Taskbar, (1.) Firefox does not open full screen although when closed it was full screen. (2.) A second Firefox window opens with Yahoo on a Tab and also not full screen. Please fix!

Need to know why this problem of Firefox (on Linux) suddenly arose. When attempting to make audio or video calls it responds with, Does not work on Firefox browser. Yet it continues to work with about half my contacts.

I haven't downloaded anything recently (at least not that I know of) and for the past two days now every time I open up firefox, the search bar and images glitch white. You can't see what you're typing and when you go to images on google, all of it turns white. It happens to every website I go to, certain things turn white. Doesn't happen with Chrome, just Firefox. I've cleared the cache and data on it but that doesn't do anything. I've restarted my laptop and tried to make sure it wasn't my laptop that was the problem. I'm nervous to uninstall and reinstall cause I don't want to lose my passwords saved here.

All of the sudden my subfolders under Sent disappeared and even the Sent folder disappeared. Plus TB keeps asking me for my password which is a long series of letters, ie. security key. Please help. There was very important info in those folders and I'm feeling kind of desparate. I uninstalled TB and reinstalled. Not fixed at all. Thank you.

After Thunderbird asked me to download a new version & I donated money, all my subfolders to the left have disappeared. ALL my information stored/ emails placed in the subfolders are gone. I have sent several requests asking for HELP. This has been so frustrating I do not want to recommend anyone to use Thunderbird. This has nev er happened to me before and I cannot seem to receive an easy solution a t my end. All folders & emails dumbed into folders are gone???? I need HELP Please.....

i keep getting sent to .ca sites instead of the .com that i had typed in and wanted to go to ie: yahoo.com discovery.com

There was no yahoo.ca or hotmail.ca when i got my email accounts and i only deal with originating networks Discovery.com not ripoffs like ctv.ca/discovery.

When going from Help on menu to check for updates receive the error message - Failed to check for updates.

Running on Windows 10 with NAV - problem is recent in origin but I can't be exact as it's not my regular PC.

So far I've manually updated Thunderbird from 115.11.1 to 115.11.2 (64bit)by downloading from Mozilla website, rebooted from cold several times, and applied the fix from Norton:" https://community.norton.com/en/forums/auto-update-norton-360-v2449067835-now-causes-security-exception-thunderbird " in case it was related. It appears to be unrelated because on my regular PC the NAV update occurred necessitating the fix to the security exception error but don't have the checking for updates error.

Firefox is a very good browser that I have using for years on my computer and phone. But recently I found out that firefox having an abnormal battery drain issue on my Samsung s23. I went to search for related issue and found a related one this year, but a little difference from my situation, Firefox was draining the most battery on my phone and I was barely using it.(By bing translation)

Firefox is my default browser...but when i open it.. MSN Browser opens first and i have to 'click' the+ add button to go straight to firefox...why is that happening? I have checked how to stop MSN browser loading from youtube video...adjusting the reg-edit process..rebooted and redone a few times....but still when i click on my firefox app...this is what happens every time?

Yesterday, I passed a message from https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/setup/linux_build.html#building ---The official documentation for firefox on Linux compiles and installs a Linux system with aarch64 architecture on an Ubuntu host with x86 architecture. In fact, I only modified a file called ". mozconfig" and added the following information: "ac-add-options -- target=aarch64-linux-gnu mk-add-options MOZ-OBJDIR=@TOPSRCDIR@/obj-aarch64-linux mk-add-options AUTOCLOBBER=1". After compiling for a while, I obtained a folder called "obj-aarch64-linux". I used the command "file /obj-aarch64-linux/dist/bin/firefox" to check the properties of the knowability file as follows: " firefox: ELF 64 bit LSB shared object, ARM aarch64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter/lib/ld Linux arch64. so. 1, for GNU/Linux 3.7.0, BuildID [md5/uuid]=6b1bede035b0d0bc9930d0d4d88c3c14, with debug_info, not stripped ”. I think I have completed cross compilation, so I compressed the "obj-aarch64-linux" folder on a USB drive and copied it to my aarch64 architecture development board. And when I tried to launch the browser on the development board using the "./obj-aarch64-linux/dist/bin/firefox" command, I received an error message saying "Couldn't load XPCOM". It is worth mentioning that firefox is installed by default on my development board, but I need to compile and install its source code, and local compilation cannot be achieved on my development board, so I made the above operation. I get the following message when I try to log in to my Kaiser.com account. "The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." I can get to the Kaiser web site but I get this message when I click on "sign in". I don't have a problem accessing and signing in using Safari or Chrome. I can't figure out how to disable or turn off cookies for the Kaiser.com website. And I've never had to do that before today.

Hi, Since the update today to 127.0 My sidebar bookmark will not load when I open Firefox. Here is what I have done so far,

Uninstalled Firefox and use the restore on reinstall. didn't work deleted the xulstore file in 3 location. didn't work Removed Firefox using Revo Uninstaller and installed from the local setup file. didn't work Uninstalled ad-ons that used the sidebar, IE Video DownloadHelper, Sync my account, and tryed the step above again. didn't work I use Revo again and did a search for any firefox file, deleted old firefox folder on desktop and any file I could find with a link to the browser. Reinstalled from local file.

When Firefox started this time there was no profile to log in my account "" password etc "", I did a test and the sidebar was working correctly. I then activated my account and the side bar stop working on restart. Not that I did a sync after removing a few ad-ons, see pic for left addons.

I use Firefox (currently on version 127.0) and starting this weekend I noticed a strange behavior. When I initially go to the NPR.org site (and only that site) everything works fine, but once I scroll down past the first two articles all of the links on the page stop working. The cursor that usually changes from an arrow to a finger does not change, the links do not change color as they should.

This only happens on NPR.org, and it only happens with Firefox (I can use Chrome at the site works fine.) Therefore I assumed that something changed at NPR.org so have reached out to them, however, I thought I would ask your team if they knew of anything going on?
