I renamed a folder and now the folder is not showing. As the folders contains few emails and I want to those back, tried restarting the thunderbird many times. Let me know if faced the same before and found a solution for it.

I would like to change the color of the two highlighted URLs in the address bar's drop down list to what they were in FF 88 - the one that is currently selected with the cursor keys, and the one the mouse pointer is over.

The first screenshot below is of the highlight colors in FF 115/125. You can see two different shades of gray, the darker gray being the URL selected with the cursor keys, the lighter gray being the one the mouse pointer is over.

The second image shows the colors from FF 88, the URL selected with cursor keys in blue, and a dark gray for the one the mouse pointer is over.

Any help in modifying these colors, and the radius of the selection is greatly appreciated!

All of a sudden, Firefox (125.0.3), running on Windows 11, is not delivering any sound at all on websites which have music or people speaking. The TOR browser does deliver the sound on those same websites.

Firefox automatically updated itself to version 126.0 (64-bit) and it was unable to display any web sites.

First I disabled Mozilla VPN but that did not fix my issue. Next, I disabled Microsoft Defender firewall software to no effect.

Finally I updated the shortcut to Firefox on my taskbar to launch the browser. This fixed my issue.

Hopefully, this will save other users from the same pain.

When I use google meet, I regularly get feedback that I sound far away, despite being at a normal distance from my computer. If I switch to another app, like slack, the issue doesn't present (so it's not an OS level issue). I'm using firefox on m3 macbook pro.

What can I do to fix this issue? Or do I have to stop using firefox?

I'm using FF on a Mac Mini, Sonoma, and for the last few days FF doesn't open in the same position it was in when I closed it. When I open FF it's about half of the size it was when I closed it. I then drag a corner to the size FF I want, but this is a very new issue.

Hello, in TB there is the option of displaying certain appointments or all appointments, e.g. in the next seven days (above the calendar). This also works perfectly on my Windows computer, but unfortunately not on my Linux computer (Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS, TB 115.10.1 (64-bit)). In TB on Linux, no appointment is displayed as a list at all. Firefox - latest version, in Win 11 updated version, on my home server, will not load google.com pages, but intermittently works OK - frustratng. Other browsers, eg. Edge and Chrome access sites as normal on my laptop on my home network. My laptop using Firefox will load google.com pages when on another network. Sorry to have this same issue again, knowing full well it can happen after finding this some years ago (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1319823), I tried to carefully connect two older PC devices back to firefox sync, however on one I managed to enable sync before disconnecting my profile (it seemed as if reconnecting sync temporarily was the only way to disconnect a profile from firefox's UI - I should have been more careful and removed the profile from the filesystem level): at which point I polluted the sync server.

I've noticed that `about:sync` has an option under bookmarks/engine actions 'wipe bookmarks', which sounds exactly what I need, and if I watch what happens once pressed it does the right thing and repopulates the sever with the 'correct' PC's bookmark set (when run from that PC), however it also says 'other devices will act like a reset', which i'm finding NOT to be the case: eventually one of my other device repollutes the server with bad bookmarks which propogate.

I'm thinking the culprits are my phones, If I wipe and do a sync on a phone, my phone's bookmarks stay polluted. If i'm right about that, I think my question is: can I wipe my profile (or preferably only my bookmarks) from my phones' Firefox without having to entirely uninstall/reinstall (or do you have any other advice for not re-polluting the server from some already-polluted device's bookmarks?

On my Macbook Air M1, Firefox's UI and default scaling is perfect on my Retina display, but if I move the window to my external Philips 1080P monitor, some - but not all - interface elements are very over-sized, which makes Firefox unuseable on any external monitor I connect. (I have tested this with multiple other monitors)

This is my Mac Monterey. My Windows 10 is in Safe Mode With Networking. The last update will not download. That version is 125.0.3. What's available under Windows updates does not download either. Now I am running my antivirus on my Windows to see if it runs clean. I do not know why I cannot apply these updates.

I have a Thunderbird on my old windows computer. I just installed it on my new computer (and I donated). I could have sworn that I had the import/export tool on the old Thunderbird. I desperately need to move some folders of emails from the old computer to the new one. I can't find a way to do that. I went to a link that said the import/export tool no longer works. I tried archiving the messages in a folder but have no idea where they went. Luckily I could undo that. What is the best way to move these folders of emails to the new computer? It was really easy many years ago.

Regular usage of Firefox results in crashes; usually have no more than 4 tabs on, but also crashes even with only one tab on. Using other mobile browsers (Brave, Chrome) with the same or even more level of usage does not result in crashes, leading me to believe the problem is with Firefox.

How do I get my history emails back?
