When I use google meet, I regularly get feedback that I sound far away, despite being at a normal distance from my computer. If I switch to another app, like slack, the issue doesn't present (so it's not an OS level issue). I'm using firefox on m3 macbook pro.

What can I do to fix this issue? Or do I have to stop using firefox?

When I click on the scan feature next to the FireFox's search box, FireFox only shows a black screen. Same issue exists when I try to sign in to my FireFox account using the QR code scanner option. My camera outside FireFox works fine.

I have the most recent updated Thunderbird, I wish to delete a email account, however under settings Account Actions is absent. I have tried searching for and answer but no way to remove it so far. I have used Thunderbird for near 10 years and usually there is the Account Actions menu item. I see all settings its should be right under the item Return Receipts. But nothing is there.

I have enabled my new Theme but it keeps defaulting back to my old Theme. I have tried closing Firefox and opening new tabs. Opening a new tab also changes it back to the default theme. I have sent an image of the old theme. The new theme is Aurora Australis. And the second image shows this Theme enabled. What gives? Carl

Hello, in TB there is the option of displaying certain appointments or all appointments, e.g. in the next seven days (above the calendar). This also works perfectly on my Windows computer, but unfortunately not on my Linux computer (Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS, TB 115.10.1 (64-bit)). In TB on Linux, no appointment is displayed as a list at all. What could be the reason for this? Thank you! Niels

I recently had to reinstall Windows, as a result of a hard drive issue. This involved reinstalling Firefox from scratch.

As such I had browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash set to false, but browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes was still set to its default value of 1. The combination resulted in a browser restore after a crash...

This would seem to imply that browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash has either been deprecated (though that is not mentioned in the knowledgebase article), or it is not being correctly interrogated in the code. Unless I am missing something, and I do not want to go thru the entire config to see what else I might need to set...

If I am reading this wrong, please let me know if there are other entries that need to change from default. In the event of a crash, I want the browser to start with my home pages, NOT restore.

Currently on FF 125.0.3 (64-bit) - and yes, I know there is an update waiting for me to restart my browser yet again...

This is my Mac Monterey. My Windows 10 is in Safe Mode With Networking. The last update will not download. That version is 125.0.3. What's available under Windows updates does not download either. Now I am running my antivirus on my Windows to see if it runs clean. I do not know why I cannot apply these updates.

I had downloaded a couple of pdfs from google drive via private browsing which were stored in my 'Downloads' folder. But as soon as I closed the window the pdfs were deleted. I had also downloaded a zip file which wasn't deleted.

Start Thunderbird, go to Drafts folder, open email, click Send, get Send Message Error (see error.jpg) in about two seconds.

There is no request for password, I do not save any passwords. When I Get Messages, a password is requested and I receive the messages. If I try to send after getting messages, same error.

The last time I successfully sent a message was a year ago, this is the first time trying to send since then. There have been OS and Thunderbird updates in between, probably some Earthlink changes too.

Aren't they internal LAN ip's? How can they be seen even without a VPN when I have NAT.

I renamed a folder and now the folder is not showing. As the folders contains few emails and I want to those back, tried restarting the thunderbird many times. Let me know if faced the same before and found a solution for it.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. I have a company email account on Office 365. I have to use it and I want to use Thunderbird for it. The account has sso that uses okta.

Thunderbird correctly identifies that the account is available on outlook.office365.com and pops up a window to complete the oauth flow. The oauth window does not display anything. If I copy the url from the window to my browser then I can complete the oauth flow easily. It fails when it ends with a "localhost" url which thunderbird presumably intercepts.

I cannot paste the final URL into thunderbird. I am thus unable to complete the oauth flow.

I'm using FF on a Mac Mini, Sonoma, and for the last few days FF doesn't open in the same position it was in when I closed it. When I open FF it's about half of the size it was when I closed it. I then drag a corner to the size FF I want, but this is a very new issue.

I am trying to set up a new account so that I can send email through a mailroute server instead of my provider, comcast. I set up the account without a problem but I get an error when trying to send a message. I was never asked for an SMTP password and none is visible in the Saved Password window.
