I have 3 laptops all running windows 10 or 11. These all share a docking station giving access to an extended display, keyboard etc. All laptops run fine with the docking station except for one issue with the newest laptop... The screen resolution, only on firefox on the one laptop, (everything else is fine) is completly out of whack. I have tried the zoom function but no luck. I have trawled the internet but all the solutions are from 10+ years ago and refer to different versions of firefox and windows. I am not a computer geek so please dumb down any advice.

I recently have gotten a message about manually updating Firefox on my Windows 11 system. Even after I updated, I then I started getting the same message and also "Failed to check for updates" in the Firefox "about" box and settings page.

I even went about uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it while deleting the Firefox Program Files and user AppData directories. I also checked for a Windows Firewall entry for the program.

Is there something in another directory or registry setting I need to delete or change? Or does Firefox use a different program for updating that needs a firewall rule?

Accidentally closed browser with many multiple tabs open. Tried to restore history but option was grayed out. Tried several times but was not able to get back to the original browsing window with the multiple open tabs.

Would really appreciate help on this, if possible, as the many multiple tabs contained family history research that will be difficult to impossible to duplicate.

Once updated Firefox all old tabs didn't open ( and it was not possible to restore them anymore). So I'd like to restore all old tabs of yesterday session. Really important for my work. Looking forward to hearing from you asap. Regards, Orlando.

Some websites still managed to smuggle in popups despite all the blockings. I use as add-ons: privacy badger, no-script, ublock origin and recently tried popup blocker (strict) and even have the 'block pop-up windows' enabled. I also tried to fiddle around in ´about:config´ but nothing helps. I think it's a recent occurrence as I don't remember having this problem, let's say, a couple of months ago.

The funny thing is that this problem doesn't occur in opera-browser (in which I hardly use extensions).

The websites that this occurs are: arabicpost.net (a pop-up will occur about 10 sec after right-clicking a new tab). focus.de (a video pop-up will occur if there's a video in it). Again opera-browser blocks all of this. I expect there will be other websites to add in the future.

Can you recommend some kind of extension thet will only check current icons for the bookmarks? Just that. I don't need duplicate bookmarks checker, inactice checker and God knows what else checker. Just icons, that's good enough for me.

Can someone please answer how to reset firefox size after you've been using a bigger screen and go back to the laptop the top bar is lost way up and I cant catch it to move it to resize the firefox window. Using Fn and F11 to go into maximize mode doesnt help me at all cuz I end up in full screen on the FHD screen but cant grab and drag the window to resize it again - and please NO comments about using FN and F11 again. This is an issue thats been since years - cant figure out why ppl who are tryin to help think others dont know the difference between maximization and the window being bigger than the laptop screen and being lost. So FIREFOX key-shortcut for window size reset URGENT PLEASEEEE - Im having this issue couple times a week. To fix it I gotta go again to the bigger screen reduce the size of the window and then disconnect - which is soooo horrible.

I have at least some computer knowledge but not enough to understand the link on the crash report that says what this report means. Is there a cliff notes version of why my firefox keeps crashing. I have link to the page so I am not sure what info is needed to help me. I can give screenshots or link info. I'm not sure if it's safe to post everything on report or what is necessary.

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

I've been using Firefox home content shortcuts usefully on my Windows system. I installed Ubuntu on Vmware last night and synced Firefox account in it. After that, the home content shortcuts are all changed to the default status. I think it's because that I clicked the sync now button on Ubuntu. Is there a way to roll it back? Thanks.

latest 124.0.2 causing severe problems, it will near instantly bloat to fill all RAM and SWAP even in safe mode causes system load over 24! only solution is to reboot very problematic on for ex: https://epg.pw/xmltv/epg_CA.xml hard to get a screencap since system is nearly totally unresponsive. When I right click the taskbar and press close Firefox, here comes the interface just as the screenshot uploaded. The blue close button doesn't response no matter how I click it and the Firefox's taskbar is flashing yellow. This bug only occurs on the first window of Firefox and only when user right click the taskbar.

It has been a long time for me wishing that some updates would be released soon to fix this issue, while noting happens. Or this bug is only for me?

In windows 10, unrepeatably, firefox won't open google so I immediately open it in a new tab and it works. This happens randomly so I can't do any tests to find out if it is an extension or hardware acceleration that is the problem.
