So I had the update to this build: 114.2.0 (Build #2015957435), f986bd245f+ GV: 114.0.2-20230619081400 AS: 114.1

2 days ago and now nothing will load at all I reinstalled and tried to get in about:config but that also won't load. I am on a OnePlus Nord running Android version 11, oxygen OS 11.1.10.10.AC01BA

I'm not really sure when this problem started, but since yesterday (05/07) I noticed that I am unable to open any website, even the google.com main site is not opening using Firefox for Android.

I use it as my default browser, so I really would like to be able to use it again as before.

I haven't tried to remove and reinstall it, but I will do it, just to be sure.

Within the last couple days at least, firefox just does not load any sites on the phone. They simply show an empty page. Chrome will load the same site under the same network conditions.

It happen since yesterday. When I open any tabs I choose in the app, it doesn't load, and only shows a blank grey page. I can't even refresh these pages. In fact, on every tab I go to, the results will be the same. Is this a bug? If so, please solve it.

I given feedback on firefox in google appstore and developer told me to further explanation what is happening. Firefox sometimes, becomes unresponsive for specific sites ... It starts loading them, but it get stuck in 1/4 of loading bar. It happens early morning most of the times which is unusual, right after I wake up. Site that it happens the most is 9gag.com. However, sometimes it happens to google search itself. What is funny when I use google search to access 9gag it fixes the problem, at least 33% of time, force stopping Firefox and cleaning cache helps additional 33% of time. Sometimes restart of phone is only thing that fixes the issue. My phone is xiaomy redminote5 with lineage 18.1 which is android 11. I use addons ublock and privacy bagger. I really hope someone more clever than me can help me figure this one out as it is being a real deal breaker. I am a long time FFox user and for the longest time I have just dismissed this behaviour as a network issue or something not related to the browser itself. Every now and again, when typing in a new url, Firefox simply stalls and does not connect. It does not matter what URL it is and if I close that tab and open a new one (or reuse an already opened one). The browser stubbornly is stuck in "loading" mode but in fact it is doing nothing. Sometimes closing the session (by swiping the browser up off the screen)and reopening firefox works, sometimes not so much, however, every time if I open a private window, i can access the typed URL 100% of the time. This finding tells me without any doubt that the problem is with Firefox and I imagine there is a fairly simple explanation and fix as for a top browser that is simply not acceptable. My wanderings on reddit unfortunately did not yield any positive result with people just accepting it as "quirk". My ff is up to date (114.2.0) and is running on a Samsung s21.
