DoH requests to the configured https://dns.google/dns-query service work from an external application on the same machine as the browser, but about:networking#dnslookuptool reports the host being unknown.

My company recently started using ActivTrak Monitoring software and I need some help configuring the setup for Apple computers. I'm trying to create a custom .mobileconfig to automatically turn on the browser extension and then stop the end users from turning the add-on off. I can successfully install and lock the extension on once installed but need to manually activate the add-on first. What do I need to add to the plist to enable the extension automatically?

I attempt to open Thunderbird in an iMac but the computer says it is already open and only one can be open at a time. I can not find a Thunderbird open on the computer.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. hello firefox support, i recently signed into firefox on desktop but now i cant seem to remeber the account password so after making a new password after clicking on forgot password ,will i lose my bookmarks and ad-ons and all the customized settings? pls help me in this situation i dont want to lose my data pls .

Specifically on the MSIX version of Firefox available in the Microsoft Store, what directory does Firefox look in for native manifests?

The problem I need to solve is that I need to place a native manifest in a location where Firefox can see it, specifically in the new Windows MSIX installer. This seems to be reasonably straightforward, if I can confirm where that is.

Ever since Firefox browser updated, my Home (specifically Shortcuts) has been glitching.

They do not show up, no matter how many rows I add or subtract. Web search and Recent activity still works (to an extent) but Shortcuts? Never again. Please fix it ASAP.

I have created a filter to forward and email as soon as the message comes in. I does not do the auto-forwarding but will do if I click Run now.

I had to reinstall TB due to the fact that for years my mail server was Cox who recently decided to get out of email business and transferred all my messages to Yahoo. The transition has not been going smoothly. Image attached.

In the previous version, there was a search box on the toolbar. After the upgrade, it disappeared. How can I restore it?

I tried to customize toolbar but there is no search box in the window of available controls.

I have Thunderbird 115.10.2 (64 bit) on my Macbook Pro running OS High Sierra 10.13.6.

The "Sent" list of folders is missing one of my Email address folders. But further down the folders column, there are folders with lock icons and the 'Sent' folder is visible in Email address in question's folder (photo attached). Similarly, the "Drafts" folder is missing the Email address's drafts folder.

I've tried the following to fix the "Sent" folder problem:

1) Account Settings -> Copies and Folders -> checked "Place a copy in:" -> "Other" -> [correctly selected address here in dropdown menu] -> Sent. Then I quit and restarted TB. Nothing happened, and the folder did not show up in the list.

2) I tried changing the Security Settings from SSL/TLS to STARTTLS, then restarted TB. That did not fix the problem.

I haven't tried fixing the 'Drafts' folder yet, but I hope you are able to help me restore the missing folders.

For the past few weeks I have not been able to open attachments (Photos and PDF file) to emails received from a variety of senders. If I use different mail service programs, they work fine! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THUNDERBIRD????????

I notice this subject has been mentioned prior, but I cannot find a resolve. Been using Thunderbird for a long time without issues, but last week it stopped sending and receiving emails through the Skymesh internet provider. Still sends & receives Hotmail/Gmail/Yahoo, but will not connect to any Skymesh accounts. Have reinstalled/updated, but no change. SMTP timeout and if I change settings I get the 10060 error. Could not even connect to their Webmail page either. If I turn VPN on, then I can access their Webmail page. Rang Skymesh, they poked around and said it was all this end and with Thunderbird. Seems an IP number change via VPN with Opera resolved the Webmail page access, but I cannot do that thru Thunderbird. Running Win 7. Anyone ??

unable to send email. error messages is Sending of the message failed. The message was not sent due to exceeding the allowed number of recipients. The server responded: STARTTLS is required to send mail [MW4PR03CA0086.namprd03.prod.outlook.com 2024-05-13T23:07:11.907Z 08DC72A03191847E].

The same happens in troubleshoot mode. I also tried reinstalling an older version but the same thing happens. Help me figure out what's wrong so I can read emails. :(

My Thunderbird 115.10.2 (64 bit) is lately running very slowly. Message content takes forever to show. Sometimes don't show at all. Sent messages take 20s to save.

I was thinking that my files were simply too large, so I erase everything before 2022-01-01. Where we are now:

  Inbox            13,662 messages 3.0 gb
  All Mail         22,722 messages 5.8 gb
  Sent mail       5,175 messages  1.2 gb
  Important    13,093 messages  3.1 gb
  Other             4,700 messages (approx)

Questions: 1. Can I delete the "Important" messages, thereby perhaps freeing up 3.1 gb? In which case how do I do that?

2. Does this look like too many messages for TB? It's two and a half years worth. Like to keep it, but not at the expense of making the system so slow.

I have removed the databases twice and started with a new instance of TB, which is where we are now.

I renamed a folder and now the folder is not showing. As the folders contains few emails and I want to those back, tried restarting the thunderbird many times. Let me know if faced the same before and found a solution for it.

I would like to change the color of the two highlighted URLs in the address bar's drop down list to what they were in FF 88 - the one that is currently selected with the cursor keys, and the one the mouse pointer is over.

The first screenshot below is of the highlight colors in FF 115/125. You can see two different shades of gray, the darker gray being the URL selected with the cursor keys, the lighter gray being the one the mouse pointer is over.

The second image shows the colors from FF 88, the URL selected with cursor keys in blue, and a dark gray for the one the mouse pointer is over.

Any help in modifying these colors, and the radius of the selection is greatly appreciated!
