Had an update for Firefox happen last night and now the Duck Duck Go extension will not work. Just goes search not found?

Here is the error - There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again. When I turn off the extension Firefox runs fine.

I had turned off the extension first and turned back on same issue. Removed extension and reloaded same issue. Restarted router same issue. I have uninstalled Firefox and then reloaded same issue with Duck. Duck Duck Go works in my Edge browser

How many times per day, and over a period of how many years, will it be necessary to tell Mozilla Thunderbird Email that I DO NOT want Mozilla Thunderbird Email to:

I just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

Now that firefox Android supports addons, please someone make addons for History export..

Is there any other better way to export history.. I have tried sync.. but there seems to be some limitations in sync, it didn't sync all the history..

Cox has recently given their email to yahoo. While the cox.net email works on yahoo mail when I tried to configure my cox.net email address on tbird mail it failed Will my cox.net email address once again work on tbird mail Thank you

Firefox doesn't allow a web message to be sent but Google Chrome does. After filling out the form at: SPECTRUM URGENT: FUNDING FOR THE AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM IS RUNNING OUT, I could not send the message because I got a message saying, "Please enter a 5 digit zip code." but I did enter a 5 digit zip code! I copied the URL into a tab of Google Chrome and there was no zip code error so I was able to send my message.

Will my Thunderbird account stay open with Cox's new platform? I have had a Thunderbird email for at least 15 years and do not want to change to Yahoo as Cox is trying to implement. I am presently getting messages but want to know if I will continue to get ALL of my email if I leave things alone. Please help me.

I have an issue trying to configure a secondary email account, for a non-profit I do some work for. It was ok in the past, though I recall was tricky to set up on TB a couple of years ago. But now it has ceased to function after I migrated TB profile (successfully apart from this issue) no matter what I try. I’d be grateful for any suggestions. As is the case with many non-profits, there’s little tech support, but others can use the email account ok. I think it may be a TB issue as I have been able to set up the account ok with MS new Windows Outlook app (lame, but better than Mail…low bar). I’d rather have this account on my TB client along with the others I use. And the issue is replicated on two of my PCs. TB account set up reports “can’t detect settings from host server”. I found a support thread link text, which says “The failure to detect settings is rather common where hosted domains are concerned. Mostly because everything is done to a price and most of the things around encryption are done in a halfhearted manner. As is the server setups for mail. However by faithfully copying the settings from the provider as to domains server name and ports it should work.” So I did manual configuration – copied the settings from the successful Outlook set up, but no dice – all I get is server time out message. Settings are: IMAP server: mail.XXXX.org.uk Port 993 Security SSL/TLS [earlier working settings were STARTTLS port 143] SMTP server: mail.XXXX.org.uk Port 465 Security SSL/TLS [[earlier working settings were STARTTLS port 587] And using Normal Password for both; I tried Autodetect too but no good. I’ve see a suggestion that turning off the firewall (Norton) might work, but I’m reluctant to do that and doesn’t seem to make sense that would cause the issue. Hello! I have tried to install the normal Thunderbird on my PC for months now. Everytime all it does is count more and more files, folders etc. I can't get it to install. The two screenshots were made within a few minutes. I let it install for around an hour one time and it simply counted more and more files without ever moving in progress. I really don't know what to do. Restarts, redownloads, nothing works. Maybe someone knows what's wrong. Thanks!

After recent update to Thunderbird 115.11.0, I can't send emails through my hotmail smtp server.

Error message: Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp-mail.outlook.com timed out. Try again.

I read the Thunderbird update for 2024 information that recommends changing Normal Password to OAuth, but OAuth is not an option on the drop down list of methods. (see attached)

'I added http websites as exceptions to the https security feature but Firefox won't let me get in them. One is my health care portal. I've tried everything and re-done the process several times, but I have to go to a different browser to get in. What do I do? Thank you.

This has been a problem for a while, currently on Firefox 126.0 and Nvidia 550.78. I can work around the problem by forcing webrender to use software mode.

When using HW accelerated webrender with my Nvidia graphics card everything works fine until the PC wakes from sleep, then graphics are broken and Firefox needs restarting. Most noticeable for me is when looking at Grafana graphs they will look like random lines, and my Frigate NVR snapshots only display some of the time.

Is there anywhere in Firefox that will show a log of any error messages to do with the graphics card? I would like to try and fix the problem rather than disabling HW acceleration, but with no logs to look at that is impossible. No other programs seem to have a problem with resuming from sleep, and no error messages are shown in any of the system logs.

No matter how I try, I can't get Firefox to save any of my passwords om my brand-new Mac computer. Nor can I reset my primary password, as I was told this might help. It didn't; I couldn't reset or change. Indeed, I don't even remember ever having chosen a primary password. I've been through all sorts instructions, but get stuck being informed that my efforts have been unsuccessful. Would be most grateful for any help. (I never had these sort of problems with my 12 year old Mac.) Bosse, Stockholm

A white toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen (when using a Bluetooth keyboard) or above the floating keyboard (if using the iPad on-screen keyboard). It takes up space but serves no function and often makes it difficult to view whatever webpage I’m looking at, or, even worse, to see what I’m typing if the input field is at the bottom of the screen.

If the “Done” button is clicked, the bar goes away, but then doing so also exits the input field, so I can’t type any further if I close this toolbar. The up/down arrows seem to serve no function.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox app but the issue did not go away.

This does not happen in any other app, including other web browsers like Safari.

Any advice, or a bug fix, would be much appreciated.

I'm using Firefox focus on my iPhone.

iOS is the latest version of 15 and 16.

Question 1.

We use it as a content blocker for Safari.

When I open iCloud notes, the characters are not displayed. Only the photo will be displayed. If you remove the content blocker, it will be displayed normally.

The language used is Japanese.

Can I avoid it by setting focus?

Question 2.

I thought I'd check the iOS version.

If you enter iOS 16.7.8 in the search field, you will get a URL error.

I can do it with other browsers, but why can't I do it with focus?

Is there a solution?
