Sync! Web site total muddle. WHO writes this stuff? All the info BUT what I need. I have ff on my pc and my iPhone. I want to see the same screen on both (sync) same research tabs to open. I am asked for my password but it is not recognized. But I am signed onto Mozilla! At Mozilla home page I see no sign in/sign or out the main home page. Where I can see "password” on it is hidden behind dots so I cannot verify. How to I sync so pc and iPhone show same page with same tabs? Where how do I SEE my password to verify it?

Recently my home page is blank. Each new tab opens as blank, bookmark icons are missing. I used to have a search engine when i opened Mozilla but now it's totally blank. I need to click on the bookmarks icon to open the list of bookmarks saved instead of seeing them on the toolbar. I didn't change anything and now it's all gone. I have uploaded a screenshot of my screen when I open Mozilla.

trying to import login information from Firefox to Norton Password Manager. the Norton process works but no logins are displayed to import to NPM. There is a quick error screen when running Norton's import_password.exe - I would call a DOS window ERROR:root:extract_all_logins: Error for ALL: no profiles found

My email for my domain (Gailfisher@Resourcesforchange.com) hosted by GoDaddy. Has been working correctly for years, but now when trying to send from TB, I get a message to enter password that does not work (it does work on my webhost's platform). Using Windows 10, TB version 115.11.0. BTW, I have another email via AOL that is working just fine on TB. I tried Safe mode -no go I tried following GoDaddy's instructions for IMAP but also did not work. FYI The GoDaddy help desk said: "Please match the server settings with the below server settings. Username Your email address Password Your email account's password Incoming servermail.[your domain name] Incoming ports IMAP - 143 POP - 110 Outgoing servermail.[your domain name] SMTP (outgoing) ports25 (587 or 80 might also work) IMAP use port 143" I tried setting up a new account in TB using email adddress and a new username, but that created the same problem. Dear all, I would like to know how to disable the automatic insertion of the tag <br> in a text editor in Firefox. I am using Froala, and I am experiencing this only in firefox. Chrome and Edge do not add this tag automatically. Thank you for you support. Kind regards, Cristiano

Perhaps I am the only one experiencing this issue but it is causing such an issue for me that I am afraid I will need to abandon this browser. I never in my life thought an internet browser displaying the forums for the browser would require so many processes.

Am I the only one? I have a pretty basic experience going on here but this is causing such a struggle I might need to find a new browser. I just don't understand how this even gets to be this way.

I am very grateful for a couple of advantages this browser occasionally showcases and I really don't want to migrate to another browser across my devices. All of the options I have read in this forum are pretty much disabled by the updates to Firefox but I am willing to try just about anything within reason that won't be quickly screwed up by another update.

My apologies if I sound frustrated, but come on that's a lot of processes to show your support page and it's eating up so many resources that could be used to trouble shoot my projects in a timely manner. This impacts performance to the point that I can't watch a tutorial with nothing else going on while working with GDevelop.

I have Thunderbird installed on my laptop running Fedora 40 with Gnome on Wayland. I have two monitors with different resolutions.

The laptop monitor has a resolution of 1920x1080 whereas the external monitor has a resolution of 1360x768.

Thunderbird display fine on the main monitor, but when I move it to the external display, everything becomes huge and unusable.

I don't want to scale things in such a way that I have the opposite problem, that is things are way too small on the laptop monitor. Is there a way to have Thunderbird scale properly on the external monitor to have it maintain the right proportions on both monitors?

Hello! I installed Firefox about a year ago, and for the entire duration it seems about 60% of the time the default fonts on various websites look weird (bold?). I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, clearing the cache, etc. See attached images for examples. Help!

Been searching. Updated firefox and lost passwords (across MacBook and iMac Firefox versions) so googled, went looking for logins.json etc files. No sign of them, and no firefox folder in applicationsupport/library on my Mac. Showing hidden files. About:profiles shows only one profile. No idea how I can restore things. Time Machine backup on desktop iMac has no firefox profile files. Where is the data please? Etc etc :O)

I have just upgraded the OS on Mac Mini with the M1 chip to Sonoma (14.5) I am running Firefox 126.0.

Now it seems that I have more than one problem since the upgrade. The browsing history in my sidebar is not current. It is running about a day behind.

I reported earlier that the type on my LinkedIn is only out 7 pt when my settings have the minimum size at 14 pt.

Somebody please help. I'm afraid to do a refresh because I don't know what it will do to my banking settings.

I had to reset my first gen iPad Air and do not have Firefox. The app store requires IOS 13 to download. I have version 12.5.7. is there a way to get an older version to install on my iPad?

For the last several weeks, whenever I check my email the new ones arrive but the latest one is always above what's displayed and I need to scroll up or I miss it. In other words, the the most recent email is out of view and the top one showing is #2. Hope that makes sense. Using latest version.

I installed TB 115.11.0. I started and TB want an E-Mail-Acc.

But i don't want to configure an new acc, i want migrate my old profiles.

I copied the profile-folder as described online, but they didn't appear.

Meanwhile i used an diffrent Mail-Acc and TB starte to sync and delete all older Mails, was wasn't wanted.

So i have an empty Mail-Acc and couldn't migrate my old Mails.

I'm trying to see whether Thunderbird may work for me.

Situation: I've been using a 2012 mac mini, now upgrading to a M1 mac mini.

I have used the mac's "MAIL" program for over a decade. Some of its folders are pretty large.

For reasons not important here, I can't use the apple "migration assistant", and have tried to migrate the folders to the now-current Mail program... and they utterly fail.

Thus, since I liked the look of Thunderbird, I figured I'd see if IT could import the mailboxes. Short answer, not well enough.

I've read up on it, tried various ways, added the import/export extention; of course the program will NOT import mailboxes directly from mac Mail despite claiming to... a known flaw... but it will also not import the MBOX files and then use them.

It does seem to import the whole file, in that if I check the resources for thunderbird in the user file, I see that one test mailbox has indeed kept the full 2.15gb capacity... but rather than showing the roughly 37,000 emails in that file, it only shows about 6,000. I've tried it multiple times, and have gotten different file totals between 5100 and 6300 total.

Any workaround, or is Thunderbird not for me?
