v115.10.1 32-bit Changed isp and email completely, and wanted to change both server name and user name. But editing server name and leaving that field I get a popup wanting to restart - problem is I need to change user name as well or no go

So it starts to try and login but fails of course, since user name need to change too.

This really need another approach, maybe not so automatic.

Changing focus from first field to next one should not execute restart. - just when leaving second field if any of first and second is changed

So going through all accounts and failed logins etc all the way is cumbersome. - dual restarts every account

but i don't see option to enable autofill on desktop. On mobile, autofill only shows USA ans Canada. Why Chrome allow me to use address autofill and Firefox not?

Hi I shop online with Sainsburys. Until about a month ago everything was working fine but now when I make an order or amend the existing order the email from Sainsburys does not come in. I have the email 'service@sainsburys.co.uk in my address book both on Thunderbird and Talktalk. Now, I changed my email address with Sainsburys just to see what would happen and the shopping order confirmation email came in fine but if I use my normal email address nothing is getting through by email. Sainsburys have offered some advice to no avail so now I ask you - how can I get back my emails coming in when I order from Sainsburys? May I add that the Tesco site works fine. I wonder if it is from the 'glitch' sainsburys had a few weeks ago when all orders were deleted etc? Thanks for any help at all. Regards

Hi, I have a problem with some websites that are using Arabic language "only", these websites required mobile number to login and mobile number is "ten digits" once I entered 9 digits it is in "English" but once I entered the "tenth number" it goes to "Arabic numerical" and the website is refusing to login during to "uncurrect" numbers. Screen shots attached.

Request solution is to make these in "English numerical not Arabic". Keep in mind this issue is also applicable to the PC version and need to be fixed.

I have been trying to contact support about an issue regarding being able to change my account password to the page at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form, however I cannot seem to submit any information. When I try, the page reloads, followed by multiple uncaught errors observed in the console, including a cross site origin request block error (in the latest stable Firefox). My browser settings use the standard browser privacy setting, and custom DNS.

Regarding the error I was trying to report, I am unable to change my password, receiving "incorrect password" despite entering the correct current password. In the browser console, a POST response with error 400 is shown.

Greetings: This is the third time that I am contacting you about not being able to receive any e-mails. Thunderbird is the only one that I use and haven't been able to receive any new e-mails for the past week or so. You notified me that my account had been compromised or words to that effect, and that I needed to create a new password. I did this(with a bit of difficulty) and still have no new e-mails coming in to this account. I did try to SEND an e-mail out, and at first it stopped me for my NEW password. I gave it, and it then allowed the e-mail to go out just fine. I sent one or two more since then and they too seemed to have worked fine. For some unknown reason though, I STILL am NOT receiving any new e-mails. Can you please help me with this problem? NOTE: As I am STILL NOT able to receive any e-mails, would it be possible for you to send me any possible solution for this problem via my regular USPS mailing address? Hi. I feel like this problem has only shown up in the last couple months but for some reason, on firefox, when say watching something on youtube and I go to pause or skip around in the video I'll get this very unpleasant distorted digital noise sound very briefly. I've tried turning off and back on hardware acceleration and some other things but no dice. I can hear the distortion on my onboard sound, my usb headset, and hdmi audio through the graphics card so I don't think its my hardware. This distortion also doesn't happen with say MPC/VLC or watching Youtube via Edge or Chrome.

I'm a web developer working for the public radio show This American Life. We have a web audio player on the website and recently I noticed it stopped working in Firefox. Looking closer at the issue, I realized that Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking one of the scripts (pdst.fm - Spotify). Because ETP is turned on by default, I'm hoping there's a way to help bring this part of the site back to functioning without bypassing the Spotify script, as currently that's out of my power. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't paste the link I get from Dropbox to connect FileLink for Dropbox into my settings. Why not? Even when I type the very long string by hand, it will not connect. What am I doing wrong? Is there a step I am missing? I really need this feature. Thanks- Pat Stoll

A while ago my long-time hotmail account stopped working on two computer with windows 10 and one with windows 11. Last night, I looked up an article that said I have to use Oauth2 instead of normal pw. I made that change on the windows 11 machine and a popup occurred that wanted the number from the google authenticator on my phone. I gave it that and it checks mail now just fine.

This morning I went to one of the Windows 10 machines and did exactly the same. I tried some different server names online and tried some, but after a while I started getting a little window that asked my email address and pw. I put my hotmail address in and got this message:

Microsoft Accounts or personal email addresses don’t work here. Make sure you enter your work or school account (e.g. user@contoso.com). If you want to reset a Microsoft Account password, click here.

Now this is the very same hotmail email that worked on windows 11 with the same server settings last night. It still works.

Now, on the windows 10 machine with those same settings, I get the blank extra window. The extra window appears, does not populate, and disappeared.

I had no opportunity to do what worked on the windows 11 machine just last night. I cannot check mail on hotmail on this windows 10 pc. I took all the updates available to Thunderbird and firefox. TB is 115.11.1

I'm stopped. Why would it work on one pc and not another? Oauth2 on the windows 11 asked for authenticator. On the windows 10 it never asks.

I am running Thunderbird 115.10.1 (Flatpak) on Ubuntu 20.04. (no extensions except birdtray) I have 4 email addresses added to my TB, and I like to see all of them together, therefore I am using Unified Folders. When I am accessing Unified Inbox, TB is very slow and basically frozen until it loads this folder (often a pop-up appears that 'TB is not responding'). it takes between 30-60 seconds to load my emails (either on start-up, or clicking on another folder, then going back to Unified Inbox). Every other folders open almost instantly. I have to admit I have a lot of emails in the Unified Inbox (~20K), however the inbox of my main email has 18K, and accessing that folder separately is instant. So any operation, other than opening Unified Inbox, is quite snappy.

This issue persists since I upgraded to v115, even when I did an OS reinstall (also tried installing apt (v115.11.0)).

Firefox will close my private browsing tabs after inactive for a couple hours. I do not see any setting section for controlling when Firefox closes or doesn’t close private browsing tabs. Just started happening bout a day or 2 ago.

I recently lived thru the Cox-Yahoo conversion. Yahoo webmail has a folder called SPAM..where all the what I call JUNK goes to but in TB but it never gets into the TB JUNK folder..I can only see it on webmail Yahoo..How do I point the TB JUNK to link with this SPAM Yahoo folder please?
