Gentlemen, isn't your browser using a lot of RAM? I've been freaking out about it in recent years. That's only with 25 tabs open!! Despite the fact that the system was installed just a day ago, without any tweaks!!!

I have created a new gmail address for my wife. Would like to add this address to my existing Thunderbird Mail account so that her emails also come to my Thunderbird email account. Not sure how to add her address to do this.. Thanks

I have been with Firefox for years as default browser but recently been having probs. It wont open from Start or my taskbar. Keeps going to New tab at top of screen. Tried reinstalling but still the same. What has happened?

It was nice when FF was simple to use....unimcumbered with all the options...like the latest...profiles.

Why? It's getting to be as complicated as E and C..you don't need all those options - that's why I use FF.

Get rid, or allow the user, to pick and choose, and dump the unwanted stuff from cluttering the tool bar and other options. Just a suggestion that can be made to FF any longer. Use to be they'd welcome feedback.

Whenever I attempt to download waiting emails I frequently get the message: "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server mailhost.zen.co.uk responded: Mailbox unavailable." This is a relatively recent occurrance - what can I do to resolve it?

I recently upgraded to a new PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11. For some reason I can not open links in any emails, even if right clicking them. I have gone through all steps here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Thunderbird but nothing has changed. I have disabled Win Defender completely and still no change.

Any idea what I am missing? I am at a loss at this point.

Every time I log in and then every so often afterwards I get the pop up - you are about to override how Thunderbird identifies this site- for a now deleted mail.co.uk account. I have tried all the fixes suggested by Google but it still keeps happening and is driving me mad. It tells me the certificate is outdated or invalid and asks to confirm to permanently store the exception but just keeps coming back every time I click on confirm, it only goes away if I click cancel but then keeps coming abck.

Email will not send. Message-- "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Email rejected. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again." I am not sending to another person but testing with my personal email. Thank you.

I had TB on my desktop for years and finally got it also synced to my phone. Then with a failure with Windows 11 had to wipe clean the desktop and start over. Cannot reinstall TB. I obviously have the correct e-mail and password as I was able to log into Mozilla and submit this question. I believe it is a problem with my user name and what is on my phone setup does not work with my desktop reinstallation.

I have filled in an un-correct password a number of times due to incorrect language setting of my keyboard. Then the popup window for this disappeared, and I cannot find a place to enter password. What can I do? It is the password for outgoing email.

why did you destroy the existing bookmark structure and replace it with something that makes no sense. I have no idea from where you obtained the url's for the stuff that's in bookmark's now. I also do not look forward to having to re-create all of the bookmarks I had in place. I won't be doing that on Mozilla! R Crider

I've never changed things from English and can't find how to change it back. There's a pop up window saying you want to have things in English. Yes I do but I don't want to do it every time I open the browser. Any help is appreciated.

Is days of Yore, we users were asked to tell if a site did not work with Firefox. Now I had to find this forum :-(

I'd like to understand what makes Firefox incapable of playing the film featuring my father from the sixties, two 2 years before he died. For me it is not a real problem, because Chrome waits always in the background to take over. I'd just prefer to let it wait for eternity.

I'm on Windows 11.
