Just the last couple of days I can no longer browse through the images of an ebay item. the first image loads but the arrows or the thumbnails yield no movement, and I can't use the contact seller button either. No other website is effected, I am using the latest Firefox with Ventura on an imac. It all works if I use Duck duck and go? All very strange. Tim

When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

I have an issue where the following operations with the "new" profile manager don't work: - setting up a new profile (about:newprofile in the new profile is just blank) (a new profile gets created though) - deleting a profile (about:newprofile is just blank) - editing any profile that is not the original profile (about:editprofile is just blank) (works with the original profile) - the select profile interface from the account or menu button is blank when opening it from any profile that is not the original profile
What works tho is calling about:profilemanager from any profile. From there any profile can be selected and switched to.
I'm using the Bazzite (Linux distro that is Fedora based). I'm fairly new to Linux so that could be a issue, the problem was there from the get-go though and since Firefox was preinstalled I don't believe I could've messed up much.
Firefox version is 147.0.4 Bazzite version is 43.20260211.0 (Kinoite)
Reboot doesn't fix these issues. Uninstalled Firefox with deleting user data, installed it again and same behavior appears again.
I also tried installing a Firefox fork (Waterfox). It had the same issues.
I would appreciate any help and would be willing to share more detailed date if it helps somebody help me.
The attached screenshots mostly show the UI that is not working as expected.
firefox 147.03 seems to "forget" the where the download folder is and all downloads fail?

HI Since the last update from Firefox. I am experiencing frequent and multiple crashes. so much so I have beenusing google chrome as alternative browser. It would appear to me that the "new" version is unstable. = Version 147.0.4 (64bit).
Do I go back the the previous version? and if so where is it.

Hello, I am facing a strange issue while using Firefox browser. When I try to play LetterBoxed NYT, the game sometimes gets stuck on the loading screen or loads very slowly. The same website works fine on other browsers like Chrome and also on Android devices, so I’m not sure if this is a browser compatibility issue or something related to caching, cookies, or browser settings.
I have already tried clearing cache, disabling extensions, and updating Firefox to the latest version, but the issue still appears occasionally. Could this be related to browser security settings, DNS resolution, or performance optimization? Please guide me on what settings I should check or change in Firefox to make this web game run smoothly.

bold text Firefox has been my browser forever. When I tried to open it this morning I was invited to create a profile, so no profile, no Firefox..... I've never had to do this before and am reluctant because of the apparent threat of losing all my passwords and bookmarks. I'm 85 years of age so don't need this complication. Any help would be appreciated, complicated high tech answer will probably be beyond me. Brian.

My Outlook account moves what it thinks are spam/marketing messages into a "Junk" folder. Sometimes there are important messages here that I must mark as "Not Junk" so that I can continue to receive new messages from this sender in my InBox. I cannot map this Junk folder into Thunderbird even after I go through the steps and checkbox this folder to be synchronized. It does not appear in the left-side "All Folders" section.
Many solutions suggest that I make changes in "Settings\Privacy & Security\Junk" section. This does not exist. There, however, is a "Spam" section. Is this the same functionality?
Further, under "Accounts\Spam Settings\" there is a "Destination and Retention" section. There is no "Junk" folder available under "Other".
Does anyone else have problems linking server-side Junk folders into Thunderbird?
Thank you in advance for taking the time if you replied, Tim
ps. I've googled this extensively, and all the presented "solutions" are not accurate as the Thunderbird "junk" options they refer no longer exist. Has there been recent UX changes, and this is now a lingering bug?

I retired an older desktop unit several months ago and am no longer able to access the bookmarks associated with my account. My profile information now says account disconnected, followed by my email address. Below that the words Profile 1 appear. The menu below is the regular menu for actions on Firefox but none of the bookmarks from the original computer appear. Is there some way to access them?

A satisfied user of TB on Linux for many years, about 3 months ago I lost many recent messages when transferring from an ancient laptop running Ubuntu to a new laptop running Fedora 42.
I installed my entire file system, including the .thunderbird directory in the home folder, on the new machine from a Duplicity backup of the old machine (BTW, I've now switched to Restic). All my files seemed to be just fine, except that when I opened TB, most messages in local folders that had been received earlier in 2025 were missing.
Hoping the problem was a defective backup, I made a new backup of .thunderbird on the old machine and copied it to the new machine. Nothing changed.
Thinking that Duplicity might be failing to backup TB files correctly, I then decided to copy .thunderbird itself (i.e., the directory and subdirectory structure and all files therein themselves) directly to a USB stick and attempt to restore from that. Unfortunately, the old machine then failed to boot up. Since then I've been making with a big gap in recent email history.
With a bit of spare time over the holidays, I've finally managed to boot up the old machine. TB running there shows the messages missing from the new machine. I have copied .thunderbird to a stick, as I had wanted in September. The problem now is that I cannot simply copy my old TB profile to the new machine, because I'll lose the last 3 months of locally stored email traffic.
So, how do I get the lost messages onto my new machine without losing recent messages or creating loads of duplicates?
When Firefox updated in the past hour I lost my page setup, I can't find my bookmarks, can someone please help be get back to my previous setup?
