Your SparkPost account is configured correctly. I recommend contacting Mozilla Thunderbird support to see where you can enter the required fields in their SMTP client to connect to SparkPost. You can see the full client configuration steps here: https://developers.sparkpost.com/api/smtp/

They should be able to prove the steps to get these settings configured in their SMTP client.

Greetings: This is the third time that I am contacting you about not being able to receive any e-mails. Thunderbird is the only one that I use and haven't been able to receive any new e-mails for the past week or so. You notified me that my account had been compromised or words to that effect, and that I needed to create a new password. I did this(with a bit of difficulty) and still have no new e-mails coming in to this account. I did try to SEND an e-mail out, and at first it stopped me for my NEW password. I gave it, and it then allowed the e-mail to go out just fine. I sent one or two more since then and they too seemed to have worked fine. For some unknown reason though, I STILL am NOT receiving any new e-mails. Can you please help me with this problem? NOTE: As I am STILL NOT able to receive any e-mails, would it be possible for you to send me any possible solution for this problem via my regular USPS mailing address? Nightly updated this morning and the help menu from the sandwich has stopped working. The menu options display, but none of them function. Mouse click makes the menu disappear as if it's going to show the panel attached to the option.

I've been trying to install an add-on that is in the .zip format. I set xpinstall.signatures.required to false and restarted the browser, yet Firefox keeps telling me the add-on cannot be installed because it's not verified. Is there a way to change this?

Hi I shop online with Sainsburys. Until about a month ago everything was working fine but now when I make an order or amend the existing order the email from Sainsburys does not come in. I have the email 'service@sainsburys.co.uk in my address book both on Thunderbird and Talktalk. Now, I changed my email address with Sainsburys just to see what would happen and the shopping order confirmation email came in fine but if I use my normal email address nothing is getting through by email. Sainsburys have offered some advice to no avail so now I ask you - how can I get back my emails coming in when I order from Sainsburys? May I add that the Tesco site works fine. I wonder if it is from the 'glitch' sainsburys had a few weeks ago when all orders were deleted etc? Thanks for any help at all. Regards

I disabled graphics acceleration and I have the same problem. I tried several distros, it's the same thing each time, Firefox crashes and it's impossible to surf. could someone help me? I'm on opensuse thunbelweed

With some emails in Outlook on Firefox, clicking on a link within the email gives me a new blank window, with its address line saying something like this: (name of original site, then) ".list-manage.com/track/click?u=ca38acd 82fe622b7" etc etc... This doesn't happen with all emails, but often enough and in some of my most-used sites... I'm on a new HP desktop. Can anyone help?

I can open an email or a google search for this particular website, Sundance, click on an item which then opens on my screen but Firefox is unresponsive when I click within this item screen for details like available sizes and colors. This is the only site that this has occurred.

I am writing to let the community know that, at least in my case, the guidance from TB 1/2024 KB article on Qauth2, [and linked Microsoft article], didn't solve the odd password behavior that began around January, 2024, between TB and my Microsoft hotmail account--which had worked perfectly with TB for maybe 10 years?

Beginning in January I typically received an error message that SMTP server login failed; please enter password. But after fixing that as per the KB article (first trying to maintain normal password, then when that wouldn't solve it, turning on 2FA, switching to Qauth2 with cookies enabled), it turned out for me that with Qauth2 and 2FA, I could send mail okay but then the Outlook.IMAP server would not connect so receiving emails stopped. Several times after this failure I tried switching back to normal password AND turn OFF 2fa in order to get Outlook.IMAP to reeive email...but then SMTP would keep requesting passwords, and every day or two i'd get a repeated request to reenter the Imap server password for receivfing also.

The only stable fix I found after weeks of livign with this and debating abandonment of TB came when I turned 2FA back on, requested an app password from my Microsoft Account, changed TB Server settings back to Normal password for SMTP and Outlook.Imap, and then entered the App password when prompted by TB for to eonnect with server for receiving and sending.

This has worked fine and apparently been stable, without new reqauests to me for passwords, for 2 days, whereas all other fixes in past couple months have not lasted longer than a day or less before TB requests again that I enter a password to connect with my hotmail account. (All through this my gmail connection via TB ahas remained flawless, thought I did get a request for a gmail app password, which I obtained and entered--just once and all has since been fine).

I don't know why several careful step by step attempts to do everything in Mozilla's Thunderbird KB and Microsoft articles suggested didn't work--for a residential Microsoft account, whether I tried to follow guideance for those experiencing SMTP problem only, or the Imap server connection generally.

My only guess about why my Win 10 desktop installation is different? I have Outlook for Android running on two or 3 different Android devices also, perhaps that complicated things?  I also used to have a mirrored account (in other words, name@hotmail.com is my main account, but I also had a 2nd "nickename" acct with the same name, set up as name@outlook. com.  

(But I removed that nicknamed acct in case it was causing any of my authentication problems; made no difference. )

Hi. I can't watch a video on any website after updating my android app to v.(126.0 I think) because it plays Stuttery and laggy. I don't have much tab open, mainly 2 or 3 and incognito mode doesn't makes any difference. Still videos play laggy as if it's on low fps. The recent update to v126.0.1 didn't fix it either. My phone is galaxy s21 ultra if it matters.

I keep running into this bug where, on the odd occasion I am trying to download a file and the download occurs slow sometimes from the server's end, I might start a download of the same file twice. Then when one finishes downloading, if I press cancel on the ongoing download, it deletes the other downloaded file from my storage. This probably happens because the files are named the exact same but cancelling a downloading file should not delete an already downloaded, different file.

Just the other day I started getting these popups from "anti virus service" that keeps popping up on my screen. I do not nor never did have McAfee on my system. I did a deep search, and there is no program on my computer, nor in my startups, nor in my popups allowed relating to this. It is only a problem with Firefox. Any solutions?

I've hit a crazy problem:

I open firefox and browse to a website. Close Firefox and then reopen and attempt any website and it just hangs. Close the browser and look at task manager and it's still listed - end task open again still no connection to anything. Have tried the Read Only thing in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ after a restart of the PC and it stays Read-Only even when I change it. Have tried a new profile which just moves the same behaviour to a new profile ie create a new profile open the browser go to any website, close the browser and reopen and get nothing. I have repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled and I just can't get it to work unless I restart the PC everytime i want to go to a webpage! Anticipate switching to Google Chrome soon if I can't find a solution which is a shame as I have been a Mozy fan for years. Any suggestions?

Currently, Firefox opens OBJ files as text. I want to send them to the Microsoft 3D Viewer which is the default application in Windows for these kinds of files. All I can do right now is right click on the file, save the file, then open with the 3D Viewer. I have gone to settings/General then down to applications and I can't add any files there. (Why not?) It doesn't matter if I choose to save or open files, the OBJ file still displays as text in Firefox. How do I get Firefox to send instead of display these files as text?

My problem is that Firefox seems to be ignoring "#:~:text=highlight this".

Maybe there's something under about:config? I can't find it.
