Can you import Contacts from Gmail to Firefox OS?
It appears that you can only import Contacts from a SIM card or Facebook. I'm assuming that this means you cannot import or sync Contacts from Gmail. Is this correct?

At this moment, it is not possible on the ZTE Open. We are working on making this possible. In the meantime you can check for updates.

- Open the Settings application by tapping the

- Tap the Device Information button.
- Tap the Check now button.
- A notification will appear in the notication bar if an update is available.
- Swipe down the notification bar to get the utility tray and install the updates.

Yes, you can sync Contacts from Gmail.

It didn't work but you can do so using the app importer ( https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/importer?src=search ), which worked for me. Cheers,

I have a ZTE and the only contacts that can be synced are Facebook contacts.
Try https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/importer?src=search You'll be able to import your contacts from gmail. If you're not on gmail, you have to use vcard (export your contacts in vcard, copy on sdcard and import with this https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/vcardin?src=search ). I haven't tried this vcardin program myself but I've heard it works.
It seems with OS 1.1 or maybe 1.2 they will be more options to import. Like me, you're now dependent on ZTE to be willing to update FFOS on this phone.
How I can make this?
I imported contact from Gmail to Thunderbird but I can't import data from Thunderbird to Firefox OS.
The application you mentioned doesn't import correctly phone numbers and I'm not abl to call anyone.
Therefore the applicatione downloaded only 60 contacts but I have about 1000 contact.

Which app are you using? I haven't tried vcardin but gimporter works perfect for me (and it seems quite well for a number of people).
