Not smart the way sync is designed as I used xmark and decided to use FF sync so I created an account on PC at work and now I am at home wanting to sync my home laptop. How on earth do I do that???
Ok good people here goes. I have been using foxmarks/xmarks for over 3 years. Today after FF updated to 6.0 at work, I thought it might be a good diea to start using FF sync. So I created an FF account at work and synchronised with a FF server somewhere and I was given a sync key.
So when I came home, I though I will add my laptop and my iMac to FF sync, but to my surprise, teh instructions are that I have to add a device on FF where I created my account, which is at work!
Therefore is there a way around this, or I have to call my wife from work and do it on the phone???
Thank you in advance. Cheers

mbrubeck you are a champ! Thank you! Cheers GG
In your situation, and complementing mbrubeck steps, you could send your Sync Key via e-mail from your Work computer to your Home computer.
