Why can't I get Firefox 4 to save my tabs setup when I close it
I have the same options setup for Firefox 4 as I had in Firefox 3, but when I close down Firefox 4 it does not ask me if I want to save my tabs. The interesting thing is that if I then open Firefox 3 and re-setup my tabs it will still ask me if I want to save my tabs when I close. What's more interesting is that if I then open Firefox 4 it will show the tabs that I saved in Firefox 3, but again when I close it down it does not ask to save my tabs. At this point if I go back to Firefox 3 none of my tabs are saved. Help!

The prefs for Save & Quit the warning message have been set by default to false in current Firefox 4 beta versions (Bug 592822 - Remove quit warning dialog).
You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle with a double left-click.
You can reset the warn prefs on the about:config page via the right-click context menu.

As directed all my warn prefs have been set to true, but Firefox 4 Beta is still not asking if I want to save my tabs when I close the application. Is this a bug or is there something else I need to do? Thanks.
if i read Bug 592822 right, the save-my-tabs option is split into the you-are-about-to-close warning and an option to restore a previous session from the history menu entry (near the bottom of the drop down menu).
if you are seeing a warning when you try to quit (with some tabs open) and have the option to 'restore previous session' from history, your firefox behaves like mine, and i think this is what it's supposed to do.

if you want to save my tabs when you close the application then change the value of browser.showQuitWarning to true.
