When I try to set up Sync with an existing account on a fresh beta profile, it crashes--what can I do?

Using openSUSE 11.3 (i586,) Firefox 4.0b11 (and several previous versions) crashes with very repeatable steps: - Start with a new profile - Navigate: Tools -> Set Up Sync... - Click: I already have a Firefox Sync account. [Connect] - Click: I don't have the device with me. - Enter my Sync user account, along with the correct password and the correct sync key. Using Firefox Sync server. - The program will spin for a second or two, then crash, and bring up the crash reporter.
