Don't get me wrong: THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH FIREFOX OS AND I HATE ANDROID. I simply want to know how to do this for future reference and to grow my knowledge of how these devices work.

I have a ZTE Open which runs FxOS 1.1

How to I install Android 4.4 onto my phone? I've looked it up a ton and I can't find a good way for my device. If you want to help me, great! If you happened to be "offended" by my request please don't feel like cho have to :P

You guys rock!

Hi Renard d'Allan,

I don't personally know how to do this, but it seems that some people have been able to do it on certain devices.

I found a video on Youtube of someone that was able to port Android 4.4 KitKat to the ZTE Open C:

Please keep in mind that this would be very experimental, and there is always the risk of bricking your device.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any user-related issues in the future.

Thanks,

- Ralph

Unfortunately, from my own view, it's not possible. We unfortunately are not able to provide this information since we provide support for Mozilla products, not Google.

Thanks anyway :)
