Welcome to a brand new version of Firefox for iOS. Translate web pages and get to your favorite features more easily with our updated design.

Remain in Private Browsing mode at all times

Firefox for iOS now remembers when you toggle Private Browsing mode so that any new tabs you open via the Share extension or clipboard bar will open in the browsing mode you were last in.

Improved menu

We’ve improved the menu to give you a consistent experience with Firefox desktop. The Library option lets you access your bookmarks, history, Reading List and downloads in the menu, rather than having to tap the address bar.

New Tab settings

We’ve included additional options for your New Tab page. Choose between opening your bookmark list, Firefox Home (with top sites and Pocket stories), history or a blank page. You’ll also have easier access to your default search engine, default mail app and lots more. See Customize Firefox Home on iOS.

Drag to reorder tabs

You can now move tabs around to your desired order. See Reorder tabs from tab view for more on this feature.

New locales!

Firefox for iOS now comes in more languages: Angika (anp), Corsican (co), Javanese (jv), Burmese (my), Norwegian Bokmål (nb-NO), Nepali (ne-NP) and Sundanese (su).
