Privacy Protection Plan
Users in the US can upgrade their current subscription to the Privacy Protection Plan, which includes Mozilla VPN, Relay Premium Email Masking, and Monitor Plus.
No value lost — when you upgrade, we’ll credit the remaining time from your highest value current subscription toward your new plan. If you have more than one overlapping subscription (e.g. Mozilla VPN and Relay Premium Phone), the additional ones will be canceled automatically, and any remaining time will be credited to your account within 1–2 days and applied to your next invoice.
Follow the instructions below to upgrade to this pack.
1. Click here to upgrade to the Privacy Protection Plan.
2. You will be taken to a checkout page. On this page, you can choose to:
- Sign in or create a Mozilla account
- Log into your Google account
- Log into your Apple account
The account you choose will be used as your login credentials, in addition to the primary account for the checkout process.
Determine if you’d like to use your Google or Apple ID, or continue with your Mozilla account. Follow the on-screen prompts to continue signing in. Once you return to the checkout screen, click the blue Continue button.
3. Click the checkbox to agree to the Mozilla Terms of Service and/or Privacy Notice.
4. Enter your credit card information in the available fields. You can also choose to use PayPal as your payment method by clicking the Paypal button beneath the fields to enter your card information.
5. Review your information to confirm everything is correct. You can also edit your location on the right side of the screen if it still needs to be updated.
6. Once complete, click the Subscribe Now button.
Mozilla VPN + Firefox Relay Bundle
Users in Canada can upgrade their existing Subscription to our Mozilla VPN + Relay Premium Email+Phone bundle.
Follow the instructions below to upgrade your current subscription to the bundle.
1. Click here to upgrade to the Mozilla VPN + Relay Premium Email+Phone bundle.
2. You will be taken to a checkout page. On this page, you can choose to:
- Sign in or create a Mozilla account
- Log into your Google account
- Log into your Apple account

Common questions
Can I go back to my original plan after I’ve upgraded it?
In order to revert to a previous plan, we will need to cancel the existing subscription and then you can subscribe again to your desired plan. Please contact our customer support team for assistance with this process.
Can I upgrade to a bundle subscription if I subscribed using Google/Apple Pay?
We only support upgrades for subscriptions purchased on the website. If you purchased your subscription from a mobile store, upgrading won't be possible. To learn more, see Why do I get an error when I try to upgrade my subscription?
Can I add Relay Phone masking if I already subscribe to the Privacy Protection Plan?
Yes, you can, by visiting this website. Relay Phone masking is not included in the Privacy Protection Plan, but you can subscribe to Relay Premium Email+Phone separately.
You’ll be billed for both plans—$99 for the Privacy Protection Plan and $47.88 for Relay Email+Phone (plus any applicable taxes), charged annually. You will then be refunded the email masking portion of the second subscription, since it is included in the Privacy Protection Plan.
I’m upgrading from Monitor Plus annual plan and I see a negative amount at the checkout screen? Am I getting money back?
This is a result of our new limited time entry price for our Privacy Protection Bundle. Negative balances shown at the time of checkout will be applied as credits to your account and used towards future invoices.
