Forum Response - No Eudora OSE or the Eudora Thunderbird add-on support

Eudora OSE and the Eudora Thunderbird add-on (penelope) are not supported by Mozilla. Under arrangement with Qualcomm they would provide the support for the product, just as they provided the developers who created OSE. Currently the Eudora OSE support forum is offline, and has been so for more than a year. Whilst we may be able tp assist with upgrading OSE to a current Thunderbird . There is no one with setails OSE knowledge.

Eudora OSE uses Thunderbird code internally and the Penelope add-on to make it into Eudora OSE. With that in mind, upgrading your Eudora OSE to the latest version of Thunderbird would require no importing or export in data, and by upgrading you will have a supported product that is recieving security and stability fixes on a regular basis.
