Firefox takes a long time to start up on my mobile device

We are constantly working on improving performance while reducing CPU usage and memory.

Perhaps you want to try Aurora, our pre-Beta version - it is less stable, as most of the new features you see are still in development, but it is faster and shows off some of the new features planned in Firefox 14.

Find out more from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#Download_Aurora or http://www.mozilla.org/mobile/aurora/ in case you are interested at all.

Web pages take too long to load

There are four main things you can try in this situation:

  • Move Firefox back from SD card to the phone
  • Uninstall or quit other programs
  • Uninstall unnecessary add-ons
  • Turn off the "reformat text on zoom" feature in your Preferences

This didn't solve my problem. What do I do now?

Sometimes tracking down the source of these kinds of problems is difficult. We have a community of volunteers ready to help you figure it out.
