Mozilla Firefox offers a Do Not Track feature that lets you express a preference not to be tracked by websites. What is tracking?
Tracking is when websites, such as advertising companies, track which websites you go to, and what you search. This can be used for tailoring suggestions & advertising to you personally, for example.
How to enable Do Not Track
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and then select or , depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button and select .
- Click on the Privacy Tab to open the privacy menu
- Click on "Tell sites I do not want to be tracked." to enable Do Not Track
