it started from yesterday... when i open firefox after a minute or less the browser suddenly close all tabs and show me a report crash windows. . my windows specifications:

• Windows 10 Pro
• version: 1909
• OS Build: 18363.1440

browser: Firefox version 87.0 (64-bit)

I tried this options but didn't help me and crash didn't stop:

1. open it in safe mode.
2. refresh browser option.
3. disable and delete all extentions.
4. delete cookies and web data button.

. there is some information that i noticed. I unistall and install again and until I didn't sign in to my "firefox account" on the top right corner of the browser, it didn't crashed. but still I want my account, passwords, bookmarks, ect... i sign in and crash started. i goes to appdata and delete firefox folder, start the browser again, my sign in to firefox account disappeared and the browser stopped from crashing. also the crash happened immediately after hitting sync now and happened a few seconds after going to firefox account settings. and it's happening after around a minute when i do absolutely nothing after opening the browser or go to website such as youtube. please help me. even though using another browser is crash-free but i wish to stay using firefox (with my firefox account)

I try to access my bank website and when I log in the tab says "Something went wrong" and the page tells me Sorry, we couldn't complete your request Sign in to online banking or our mobile banking app to continue. This started on April 1, 2021 Running Firefox v87.0 (64) on Win 10. All apps are current. Tried resetting Firefox, and clearing cache which didn't work. I can sign-in using Edge. Thanks

My tabs are constantly - several times a day, every day - crashing. I'm not watching any videos, I've tried a clean (deleted profile folder) install, and turning off hardware acceleration. It's not anything attached to my profile, as I sync with a 2nd computer that has zero crash issues.

I had a different issue I came here for, but I discovered a very serious bug while I was writing my question, so I want to make sure this gets addressed first.

After writing my question, I clicked the "share data" button below. I got a message "We can't automatically get your browser's troubleshooting data, please try these manual steps. " Without thinking, I clicked the link to the "manual steps." Unfortunately, instead of opening a new tab, which would be the expected behavior, clicking the link took me off the get help form page (the page I'm on as I write this). What's worse, when I used the back button to return to the previous page, everything I'd written was gone. Obviously, the expected behavior would be to not take the user off the page in the first place, but if for some reason it did, to autosave the writing so it can be restored when the user returns.

This kind of bug used to be a lot more common in the early days, when I first started using the web, 25 years ago. I used to have a boilerplate describing the problem because I was sending reports of the bug so frequently. I've only encountered it twice, to my recollection, in the last 5 years. Firefox's website would have been one of the last places I'd ever expect to find a bug this glaring and elementary.

My tabs are frequently crashing and some strange behaviors occur with firefox after these crashes (adblock failing to work until browser restart, browser going blank for a split second). My browser also occasionally crashes, and even more infrequently my entire computer will crash which usually happens after series of tabs crashing in a row. It may be a ram issue but I have no problems with any other programs on my computer so I doubt that.

When I try to use a platform like Netflix i get repeated error messages that WidevineCdm has crashed. This happens also in other browsers. I am not very tech savvy, but I've tried all the solutions I was able to understand on here and through Google, but nothing seems to fix the problem. Can any one advise?

The Widevine CDM 4.10.2209.1 plugin crashes every time in Firefox 78 browser. Was updated on April 21, 2021, maybe it's a bug? I'm not able to uninstall the plugin. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I've been getting a lot of crashes on a website I'm developing - for example bp-b1597aaa-c596-4641-ad9b-a9dea0210503 . It's at the stage now where every time I open the site (or a clone of it) it crashes.

This appears to be reported at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1706429 but has severity and priority of P3, perhaps based on 39 reports when the ticket was raised. This is really annoying because I'm having to do my website development in Chrome.

What happened to FireFox Version 88.0.1? I updated to this version yesterday after a lot of nagging from popups.

Prob 1. Try to open a link from email and I get, "Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to input.mozilla.org. PR_CONNECT_ABORTED_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

When I try the same link in Safari, which tends to be grumpier than Firefox about security issues. it works just fine; no complaints and the page opens.

Prob 2 ( IMO related ). Try to open a bookmark and I get, "The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

Again, when I try the same link or site in Safari, works just fine.

Hi, I just discovered a problem setting secondary email when both primary and secondary is on the same domain, gmail.com.

Following the instructions:

Set up secondary email

The error that come up says that the secondary email must be different than my account email, but it is, the only common thing is the domain.

So this is a bug, please fix.

I posted this question before, and it got escalated, but there wasn't a resolution or fix suggested. I am hoping with more crash reports I can get some help finding a solution! Firefox is now crashing routinely - as in, many times each day. I am at my wits end! It's not profile-related as I sync my browser profiles and have no issues on my other computer. I did a clean install, and the crash frequently slowed for a while, but now I'm back to tearing my hair out. Please help!

Instead, I have a plain white background image. Right clicking on it gives me desktop menu options. To close the web browser, I have to right click the program in the taskbar. This is also not just firefox. Chrome and Edge are doing the same thing. Edge has 0 add ons, Chrome and Firefox have the same add ons. My firefox version is 88.0.1, I'm running Windows 10 up to date, I have a high speed internet connection. This issue started maybe 3 days ago. I tried bringing it up in safe mode (troubleshoot mode) and still didn't have any of my normal buttons (close, minimize, maximize).

I can temporarily fix the issue, if I hit the F11 (full screen), the screen will jump, at first no change (it would be entering full screen when I hit it first), hitting it again (exit full screen) will bring back my normal window, complete with add-ons, all buttons and even my background image.

I'm attaching a screenshot. I'm really at a loss on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Just started Crashing one day after startup. Ive tried a full fresh install of Firefox and still keeps happening. Ive updated my graphics driver for my graphics card and updated firefox to last updated.

I tried to copying and pasting the email code in and it says wrong code try again. I have tried multiple times and it won't work. Then I tried forget password and tried to use a recovery code to reset my account in an attempt to restart it like a computer but that does not work. I cannot add 2AF to my account. Any help appreciated. It also seems to be recognizing a email that I no longer use. I have had this problem in the past but ignored.

Ubuntu 21.04 latest firefox 90. Firefox crashes randomly or each by clicking right mouse button in Bookmarks Menu button any folder/url. Also bookmarks are not visible via the Bookmarks Menu button. about:crashes is Empty

Firefox pretty much crashed every time I quit. Doesn't matter if I'm looking at a web page or close all windows before quitting.

Restarting in Trouble Shoot mode doesn't help either.

The cause seems to be synchronisation - if I sign out of my account and no longer synchronise, the problem goes away and I can quit without Firefox crashing.
