In the browser console the error message "Image corrupt or truncated" appears, but if the image is downloaded it is displayed correctly (still not on Firefox, but with any other image viewer). Opera works OK on all webpages. Website examples: www.ebay.it, images.google.com, www.facebook.com.

Already trying: - starting in safe mode; - resetting Firefox; - removing Firefox, removing any user data, reinstalling Firefox; - reinstalling Firefox and all related packages.

I am using Firefox 28.0 on Sabayon Linux v3.12.0 x86_64. The issue has persisted for almost two months now.

Do the images show correctly in Tools > Page Info > Media?

Can you attach a screenshot of the Browser Console?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Did you check the Network log in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer)?
