I had a problem with my firefox that caused my computer to crash. I uninstalled it and re-installed it and that seemed to fix my crashes. A few days later my firefox just started opening up all in black and It can't be used(I can't even access safe mode) it might have to do with the java plug in but I'm not sure It's impossible to use and even scrolling up and down doesn't really work for it. and no - re-installing Firefox did not fix this issue. I can add screen shots if needed Any ideas?

Remove the firefox completly, after uninstalling delete the complete folder from your program files, and then install it again... Check your drivers compatibilty on your system... By the way, which os you are using ?

If it doesnt work, restore your windows to a previous state, which can solve it completly..

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
