Password numbers cannot physically be entered, ie keys are blocked on my bank site.
I am using Xubuntu 12.4 and since an automatic download of Mozilla 16.01 only one out of the six numbers required for my password can physically be entered.
I have noticed that the one number which can be inserted is entered from the right side of the box when previously the numbers entered from the left. NB the numbers are selected from a grid box where the numbers are laid out differently on each search.

Many thanks for your prompt assistance. I took your advice and reset Firefox and my password now works fine. I am delighted.

You can try to Clear Now the Cache and Cookies via Tools (Alt + T) > Clear Recent History.
If the problem persists, please also try to Reset Firefox.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
