why does firefox insist that i turn on caret browsing?
i keep getting a pop-up advising that pressing f7 turns on caret browsing to choose text in web-page using keyboard. this has no relevance to playing farmville or reading emails, the activities i am engaged in when the pop-up appears. deleting the pop-up only succeeds in multiple copies of it appearing so that i can not delete it, then the web-page freezes so that i can not shut-down firefox.

Are you hitting F7 when playing Farmville or reading email?
no, all i use at the time is the touchpad
