As an aside, I thought I'd mention that Firefox won't let me register or sign in, so I am using MS Internet Explorer to post this inquiry. Anyway, when I "upgraded" Firefox 4, the "New Tab" icon disappeared from the toolbar. When I went to customize the toolbar, there was no "New Tab" icon available. "New Window" was there, but no "New Tab."

So now I get to go File/New Tab, or Ctrl-T instead. Does someone at Mozilla want to make me work harder to open a new tab, or did you just forget about this? And what's with having to use Internet Explorer to get here? You people got some MS moles in there or something?

Do you see a new tab button displayed as a plus (+) sign on the Tab bar if you are in Customize mode?

If that isn't the case then see if you can bring it back with a click on "Restore Default Set"
You can drag that plus sign to another toolbar and it will change to the New Tab toolbar button.

Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

Thanks, that worked.

Now what's with the deal about having to use Internet Explorer to log in here? When I use Firefox, I get this message:

Access denied

You do not have permission to access this page.

Then I go to Internet Explorer and log in normally. Weird, huh?

I'm actually quite curious where my New Tab button has gone as well. I don't like using the new tab button next to the tabs sine I hide my tabs when I've only got one open. I'd MUCH prefer to add a button to add to my toolbar. I used it constantly. The one next to the tabs is just too small.
