I have ran the install for 3.6. When I go to relaunch FF it 'blinks' but FF never starts. I've had to go back to 3.5.8

I am currently running FF 3.5.8. When I try to upgrade to 3.6, the install seems to work fine. When I go back to relaunch FF (it doesnt happen automatically) it never runs. I dont get any error messages, it doesnt crash, it doesnt do anything.
