When i try to search anything in the bottom search bar it shows up in the address bar. Reinstalled browser didn't fix the issue. Please help with fixing the issue as it was working fine until this morning.

I don't have the latest release but there is no indication that this has changed. In about:config search for handoff and change the following preference to false. It doesn't change private windows. browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar
