Ever since the latest Firefox update, I'm having a problem I could not find an accurate description of in the help system.

For a time, everything works as intended. I can go to websites, click links, etc. No issues. But after a while, I will click on a link and instead of the page loading, the little tab displays the "eye moving back and forth" animation and nothing happens. No loading, blank page, no name of website on the tab, no indication the browser is even trying to connect.

Based on what the help pages offered, I tried deleting the history to see if that cleared things up. It did, for a time, but after a few days the problem came back. Now I'm seeing the problem return after only a day, and it's getting irritating having to relog into all of my favorite websites.

Help!

I should add, if a web page is already loaded up in a tab, it works fine. But I can't open any new pages.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
