Security Question

more options

I just sent an e-mail to someone at a company that handles my finances and I immediately got an ad in my Yahoo mail from a company called BeenVerified asking if I wanted to know more information about the person I sent the e-mail to. This is very unsettling. I don't know if it is really related to Firefox, or Yahoo Mail, or the fact that I had an account with BeenVerified in the recent past which I cancelled sometime back.

Is there a possibility that the security settings within Firefox can be changed to stop such a thing?

Thank you for your time!!!

Alan

My suggestion is to move your emails over to Microsoft Outlook or Google Gmail.

Do you use an email program on your computer or are you logging into an online email account to send/recieve emails?
