Download Firefox adds another file extension

more options

I got a new computer (Windows 10; my old one still had Windows 7), I have the same Firefox Version 85.0.2 (64 bit), and the same options (transferred with my account) yet firefox behaves differently when downloading. In this case when I download a .dlc file (a text file) firefox ADDS the file extension .txt, in consequence jdownloader2 doesn't open it automatically. Under Windows 7 firefox does no such thing. How can I change this behavior in firefox (under Windows 10 only?)?

It's possible this will change when Firefox 86 is released this week. It will be making fewer file extension "corrections" than Firefox 85 does. However, I don't know whether text file naming will be changing.
