Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

When you click "Save file to" in "Options/Preferences -> General" then you should see an enabled Browse button that allows to set the default download folder. If the Firefox window isn't wide enough then you may not see this button.

Click the Browse button and browse to the folder you want to use.

Don't you see the Browse button I mentioned above?
