all bookmarks are deleted, and can not create new bookmarks!
To my regret, I tried new Pro trial of CCleaner. All Firefox bookmarks got deleted, and Firefox will no longer create and save new bookmarks! I have uninstalled and reloaded and refreshed Firefox. Still have the no bookmark problem. Got suggestion on CCleaner site that my Firefox profile may be corrupted. How would I know and how do I fix the Profile if it is bad? NEED EXPERT HELP! I am not a Firefox expert! lesliestein@msn.com

Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues.
Did you try to recover from CCleaner ? Did you try a system restore ?
Yes it is possible your Firefox Profile is corrupted. Do you have another computer with bookmarks ? You could export them as HTML from another cpu with Firefox then import them into this system. If you have the above 2nd cpu or mobile you got your bookmarks again. Oh Ya always export as HTML. Mine are from Win95
This should be handled by someone else that is better at working with those files than I .
system restore sounds like a great idea. However, some gremlin turned off my protection and I have no restore points! I have now turned on protection, but horse is already gone! Thanks, but still need help.
