In current Firefox releases is multi-process tabs enabled. This means that see more than one Firefox process running, one process for the main browser process and other processes for content processes (set via dom.ipc.processCount). You can see this on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" page (Application Basics: Multiprocess Windows).

Firefox crashes a hell of alot more than it used to i liked the old way best. please go back to the way it used to be. or im just gonna find a better browser im tired of it crashing all the time
could you provide your latest few submitted crash reports? please enter about:crashes into the location bar, copy the latest few report ids from there starting with bp- & paste them here into a forum reply. this will give us a better understanding what may be triggering those crashes.
i didn't submit the crash reports would they still be logged somewhere? if so where would i find them?
your unsubmitted crash reports should also show up under about:crashes - when you click on them they get submitted and start off with "bp-" too.
i only was able to find the .dmp files how do i submit those?
ok i found out i need to put about:crashes in address bar which you did not explain
it's says they all been submitted and there was none starting with "bp"
