HI ThatGuy,
Thank you for reporting that you are seeing two firefox.exe processes. Are there more than on profile in the profile folder? It might be another Firefox instance is opening up when clicking on external link or short cut from another program?
Please also make sure that its not disguised malware and run a few malware scans: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
one profile only
but thank you for doing exactly what I asked you not to
no malware since the system is HEAVILY PROTECTED (as I said) trust me if there was any someone would have shown up and taken my machine away
it is not an external link since I only use FF for the min I basically use it to play pandora and nothing else If this keeps up I will have to uninstall it and forget ff exists It is so sad that FF has become as bad as it is
I use Chrome for everything else
There are numerous columns you can add to the Processes tab in Windows 7, using the View menu > Select Columns. Could you add these, if you do not have them already, and see whether they shed any additional light:
- User Name (both you?)
- Command Line (any unusual parameters?)
