Is HLS supported with Firefox?

I want see the live event of Apple. Can I see it in Firefox?

Firefox does not play HLS using an internal player, you would need a plugin.

I notice you have the VLC plugin. According to Wikipedia (!), VLC has "partial" support for HLS and there might be gaps in playback:

Not sure of your best choice.
