How do I change the initial greeting for email from William t Bill & Diane

Sorry, but what do you mean by the initial greeting?
I suspect you don't mean the salutation, like:
Dearest Bill & Diane, ...
Do you mean the signature that gets tacked on to your messages at the bottom? The place to edit the signature varies depending on the website or mail program, but looking for it under "signature" may lead you right to it.
Or did you mean something else like the display name for your "From" address?

Are you sure this is a FF issue and not your email program or web site email issue ? If is a FF issue please provide more information.
