I don't know computers (age 76) - only programs. I need new search engine to work with Fold3 and Family Search, etc. but I do not want to replace MSN as my favorite - because of the features I am used to using. If I set up a home page with Foxfire does that eliminate my MSN? I want to get into MSN, and then move over to Foxfire to a 'home page. Is that possible? Its hard to train old dogs to new tricks but I'd accept a few new things if they didn't eliminate my comfort zone on MSN. OK? Lenore Tingerthal lxxxxxx@msn.com

Hi there,

Firefox is not actually a search engine but using its default startpage will allow you to search via Google. An option I can mention is that you add www.google.com into the start-up page field along with the existing msn site preceeding the google address but seperated with a "pipe" as such: http://www.msn.com|http://www.google.com ( goto Tools-Options and make the change in the "Home Page:" Field as mention above.

In doing this the msn page will still be your default but the google search page will open up in its own tab next to msn's on the firefox Tabs.
