Firefox updated my email a few days ago and since then I can't figure out how to forward an email I received. I quite often forward emails to my brother, niece, or friend, but now I can't. Help me.

I use Firefox for all my browsing. I use Firefox for my email. Firefox just updated their browser and I am trying to forward an email I received to my brother. It was very simple and easy with Firefox before they updated. Now I can't figure out how to forward anything.

Ok, still did not really answer if used a email program or did it from a website so I will take browsing as the answer to a website. Was not sure if used a program such as Thunderbird which was a Mozilla Product.

Would like to use the big guns to get that back and so : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I'm so sorry PKShadow, I am not near good enough with my computer to actually know what you are saying. Thank you so much for trying to help me. I guess I will see if I can find out how to uninstall that latest version of Firefox email. If I can't do that I try to contact Firefox email and see if they can solve my problem. Thanks again.

Ok , is why I suggested this as it is the easiest way. We can cut some things out of the above for you.

From the Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs --> Uninstall Firefox.

Open My Computer then click on C:\ Click on C:\Program Files and open Delete Mozilla Firefox Folder Go back one to C:\Program Files(x86) and open Delete Mozilla Firefox Folder

Note: your Firefox Profile is saved.

Reinstall Firefox 57.0 with a Full Version Installer Download here : https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ If click this one it will auto download https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest-ssl&os=win64&lang=en-US

You must double click the file to get it to run once it is downloaded.

Below is to learn to do another time ____________________________________

Please learn : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

(Below cleans up temp, files and all sorts stuff not needed and makes your computer faster as clean = Faster) https://www.ghacks.net/2012/01/09/how-to-run-the-advanced-disk-cleanup-version-in-windows/ It is standard cleanup, nothing fancy to it.

Please do learn this : Windows Disk Cleanup. Run it Then Run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files

Ok, that's about as easy as I can get it for you.

Hi starlady107  !

What we really need to know :

Are you using Firefox as your browser while accessing your email account  ? If so : you could ask your email provider.

Or are you using Thunderbird  ? In that case you can post your question on the Thunderbird support forum:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/thunderbird

Just click on the 'Ask a question' button at the top of the page.
