It is up to you what links you click on and use. Potentially almost any link could pose some sort of risk.
The problem with shortened URLs is that
- They are not as easy to check.
- There is no easy way to know what they actually link to. However you could instead of using a short url as a link just search for that URL on a search engine such as Google. Enclose it within quotation marks.
